So, I am remaking the game. Apps are open.

NOTE: Due to the failure of the last game I will ONLY accept applications on the condition that they can post at least once a week. If you feel you cannot do this, do not make a app. If you feel you can do this at first but issues arise, post here and we will try to do something about it, be it work around your schedule or give your char to someone else.

Also, feel free to ask questions.

I will be accepting 4 Kingdoms and 1 Outsider.

Copy and paste of my last app, I didn't get a chance, but I am active. The only time I will be away from a computer is labor day weekend, and even then only 3 days.

Forum name: Rez
Outsider Personality: Intelligent, Meticulous, and a twisted form of playfulness.

Outsider Backstory: The outsider has destroyed every civilization the world has known, over and over again throughout history. The Outsider enjoys destruction, it has purposely left its mortal playthings alive to rebuild and restart, letting them set up their little castles to be knocked over again and again. Even that gets boring however and the last time The Outsider went overboard and destroyed nearly all of its toys at once. Now it watches the last humans; it playthings set up the last game, it will make sure there is great fun to be had.

Signature power: Eclipsed Mind (Do you need another Pm for what this does?)
Reason why you think you'd make a good Outsider: I know how to stay in character, and much prefer the slow decay approach over just flat out assaults, I want to have the players squirm and make it fun.

Accepted, on the condition that you post every few days in the OOC thread even if there is no update for you to assure us you are still about. As The Outsider your role is the biggest and if you go missing the game is pretty much all over. You don't need to post a assurace per sae, just post anything about the game: Questions, slight RP as The Outsider complaining about why you can't move yet, funny skits about stupid minions, whatever you think of that's entertaining or questioning.

Also, yeah, I'd like another PM about what Eclipsed Mind does as well as the limits I set on it in case I need to alter anything.

Also, you have to use a different color then Purple. With Chaos and the Mods using it it's WAY too cliche.

There are many colors you could use. A Icy Blue for example. Or a Bold Black. Or maybe use a different font instead. Everyone uses purple is all I'm saying.

Also, if there is any limitations that you think I'm missing in regards to your power or anything else you think i need to know or for balance let me know via PM.

Anyone else want to apply or ask questions? Questions would help me a bit shape stuff about the world.

I will only be posting when I have to for about 10 months or so since school has started. The only time I will be posting the usual stuff is on weekends or holidays.

Would you mind PMing me the plan? I am sort of iffy on the whole trickery thing to be honest. I LIKE the idea of a false leader using simple tricks to fool the public, but it needs to be carefully balanced to prevent things going too far in your favor and you need to keep in mind The Outsider too.

If I agree to it BTW, I would appreciate it if you post the planned update in the OOC thread whenever you use a trick first to see if I will allow it. Otherwise it could be Op and unfair to other players.

Basically, while I'm not sure how best to balance this, it's to survive till the end of the game when locked. If even one Kingdom lives it's a victory for all of them over The Outsider since humanity will live and can rebuild after the events. However The Outsider will do their best to destroy all the Kingdoms: Turn Kingdoms against each other, assassinate players chars, invasion forces... A Kingdom is lost when it is either utterly destroyed or the leader dies.

Kingdom Name: Phantasmagoria
Ruler name: Mysterion
Specialty: Illusions
Backstory of The Kingdom: Phantasmagoria lies in a dreadful place known as the Bipolar Desert. During the day, the sun bakes and fries the many sand dunes. But when night falls, the sand is inexplicably turned into snow. The people and their land itself possess illusion magic that far surpasses even that of the Arcanians. Often shortened to Magoria, not much is known of this mysterious kingdom. Few non-Magorians have managed to reach the city and it is only because of them that we know it exists.

  • Bipolar Desert: Those ill-equipped will burn to death in the heat or freeze in the cold. Bring your own water and plenty of it or die of dehydration. Most of the oases are nothing but mirages. When the sun is up, beware of sandstorms. When the moon is up, beware of blizzards. And no matter the time, beware of hallucinations.

  • Magorians: The strange people of this land. Their skin color changes from dark to light over the course of the day.

  • Phantoms: Ghost-like creatures that wander the sand and snow. What they are, where they came from, or what they want, we don't know. We just know that they're dangerous and have killed many people. The Magorians don't seem concerned about them though...

  • Animals: Some animals have managed to adapt to the harsh climate of the desert.

  • Mysterion: The male ruler of Magoria. His face is hidden by his dark purple hood and none of his skin shows because of the similarly-colored cloak he wears. The only reason we know his gender is because of his gruff voice when he spoke.

    Kingdom Motto/Rulers Motto: "My death is only the beginning..."

    		@Daimyo: Your kingdom lies on the hill, the only way the desert would be allowed is if it was an illusion itself. I also have a bit of advice. Being surrounded by a inhospitable desert would make it very difficult to communicate and trade with other kingdoms, and you can't fight the outsider by yourself no matter how strong your illusions might be. They are only illusions after all, and the outsider is quite intelligent.

    		Okay, there's a portal on the hill (how big is this hill to have so many kingdoms on it?) that leads to the Bipolar Desert. And the justification for it is because.

    From the game thread. I do not really care, it isn't me you have to convince. Though another word of warning, if humans had portals they could always escape...I can think of a few reasons why they no longer use them.

    		This hill is huge and has a ton of climates. However Rez also has some fair points. Illusions on their own will be nigh useless against The Outsider, and Portals are NOT allowed for various reasons. A desert on the hill is allowable and so are illusions, but I suggest you find a different specialty. One because it infringes on Chazero's abilities, 2 because it would be useless on it's own vs The Outsider, and 3, because you want as many different things covered as possible between the 4 of you.
