One of the main obstacles that is stopping this game from evolving is the fact that not a lot of people invest into energy. In fact, they create their builds off of the 620 minimum energy they are given (at level 40). But this was not always the case. People used to invest more into energy and the reason that they have stopped, from my experience, is because of several factors: 1) It's taking away valuable points that can go towards strength 2) Blood Mages are just going to go rampant and take it all. Literally And to me the game shouldn't be like that. I'm not going to suggest nerfing bloodmages parasite because would rather add to the game than subtract.What I am suggesting is that since Energy is literally scarce in this game, each and every last point we are given matters towards the skills that we implement in our skill tree. Now you would think that by adding a cost to cores might force the individual to actually invest some points into energy, but with the amount of massive energy taking skills this game (ice shards, parasite, emp, static grenade, Static Smash, Atom Smash, etc) has you will need close to 1k energy in order to actually use your skills efficiently. So what I wanted to suggest was nerfing bm parasite, but that doesn't seem fair. I then thought it would be a good idea to nerf all energy taking skills but then that would render them utterly useless. What I am suggesting now is: 1) remove the cost of cores or 2) increase the amount of energy we receive per stat With either of these options being implemented into the game I see an evolution coming. Higher energy builds, more casters coming into the game, tech mages or blood mages can actually be mages, matches would be more spontaneous and exciting.
