As it is now, the lionhart core has little to no effectiveness because of the fact that the core deactivates after your turn.

What I suggest is having the core end after the opposite player goes twice, therefore extending the core by half a turn.

For example: I use core, your turn, My turn, Your turn (core ends)

as opposed to

I use core, your turn, my turn (core ends)

Either that or (EDIT) Allow the targeted player the availability to buff himself for that single turn

Having 2 turns of an opponent not being able to attack you sounds rather unbalanced to me. Thats basically two free hits for you which is a massive game changer in any 1v1 duel

It just seems like we're unable to maximize its potential atm. I am open to suggestions too. I only thought it was fair since you cant heal or buff yourself while this core is activated.

Supported.

At most its ONE extra attack for you since use the bot would waste the first turn.

This would make the bot a strong counter to agessive attacking strategies which the game strongly needs.

How about the bot also prevents the user from attacking the next turn as well!

So it just becomes an attack staller strong for certain defensive builds.

But what effective thing can you do for 2 turns besides healing? It seems overpowered to be untouchable for 2 turns. At least Cyber Yeti's special still lets you hit the opponent with unblockable attacks normally.

Well their are multiple things if you aren't an aggressive build.


For example you could use a buff, or an energy drain/gain.


Perhaps if you time it right against an aggressive build you may be able to make them waste a turn and that isn't as overpowered as it sounds.


If you don't add strong counters that change the meta then we will never see any other style of builds.


Azreal gear ruined the use of of shields, perhaps this bot could bring it back.


As long as you also add the downside of not letting the user stack either during the second turn then I think this bot would be fine, and in fact add healthier gameplay to the meta.

The core was actually meant for saving a dying player in 2v2, and extending its effect to 2 turns would make it too strong, because it practically makes the target invulnerBle for 4 attacks. Therefore not supported.

Then maybe the can change this core so that youre untouchable the first turn and guaranteed blocks and deflects the 2nd turn. The problem is, @Drianx, is that it provides your partner with an extra turn but, then again, you cant heal him.

I was thinking about this and I thought that the main problem with this core is that you cant do anything to yourself which is the main reason as to why its useless in most occasions.

Another idea I came up with is allowing the targeted player to buff himself, whether it be heal or any other buff

You can't heal him, but with 1 HP he could still attack 2 more times, Rage, use Battery Backup, or wait for his own Field Medic to cooldown and then heal you. Many possibilities open in 2 turns, instead of one.

How is this a bad thing?
Maybe it will finally bring in some interesting strategies into 2 v2
Rather then the boring old focus one guy and burst them down with powerful attacks.

People are so scared of mechanics that would change how people play each mode.
If you ask me, changing the current state of game mechanics should be number one priority.


Persides they need to make a counter to the damage hatchling rush caused on 2v2.

It makes no sense for the only 2v2 strategy to work is rush one guy...

If you want some counterplay to this robot then they could also make multi attacks usable since it doesn't hit the target directly.

It would be bad because the team with the bot would surely win. The core would be OPed.

You mean the team with the bot verses a team designed to rush people maybe.

Verses a team that uses sheilds and buffs using this bot may be ineffective or possibly a waste to the user.


And so the meta changes to less rush styled strategies.

And then people design rush strategies that utilise multi damaging attack to by pass the bot.

And then builds that are strong in energy drains become popular to counter the multi using builds.


And so overall 2v2 now has 3 extra stratagy styles to the pool some better at versing others then some, but the extra variety ensures less boring games.

Overall 2v2 has now become more fun thanks to variety just because of a simple counterplay bot.

My point is that this bot was made for 2v2, as you stated, but it is useless in most situations. If they allow the targeted player the option to heal himself then I feel as if it could be properly used
