Every player has only 3 fame points . he can't get more by anyway . he can't give fame to a player more than 1 fame in a day . that we can solve many problems like ''f4f'' , spamming fames and ''giving fame to anyone'' . Only he ll gave to 3 players that he see they deserve . I think the problem is it needs to remove all fames to all players .

 Or put it back on character pages, maybe have it in game, and on character pages, because come on...

Guys you should give fame to 3 players you think that they deserve . But faming to everyone in one day ... it can make a player with no experience of the game has much fames . and "f4f" is kinda of messing with fames which is your influence in this game .

Fame if you put it that way has been messed up since it first came into the game.

People want fame because they want the following

1) the cheevo's that come with it
2) A spot on the all time LB

As long as the cheevo's and the LB are there you will get this.

If you want to stop this, simply make the cheevo's become rare (Rising Star, Rockstar, celebrity, and famous)

and remove the Daily/all time LB and watch the fame asking/begging drop like a stone.

No offense to the devs, but in my opinion, fame has always been a bad feature. Few hours after its release you could already see that it was not and never will be used for what it was intended (social network advertising). One week after its release, fame should have been removed or simply left alone. The addition of fame leaderboard made things a lot worst (it made fame into a glorified begging/asking contest). It seems like, with the latest change to the fame system, devs gave in to the "demands" of the f4f people (removing of the fame from char pages).

Fame is where it is now. There is no fixing it. The one good thing about fame system is that it revealed the "true noobs" and made me lose respect for a LOT of people.

And to all the delightful "f4f" people, I say this: f4f = Fame For Free

@mother1 @8x I know its very bad to have everyone large numbers of fames . so we should :

1)remove all fames from every player
2)make the player fame only for 3 players in 1 day
3)increase the rating points of all achievements related to fames .

2. If you want to remove fame, don't bring it back in another form.

If fames were removed , players would complain to the game . especially people who are in leaderboards all time they wouldn't calm down about it .

One of the reasons they changed it was people started hacking fame and was getting huge and I mean huge amounts of fame a day. I even remember seeing someone with 800+ fame within 10 hours of the day.

Normally the most I had seen back in the day was someone get 500+ fame and this was the whole day not 10 hours.

Personally at that point I would have done like you said removed the feature and made the cheevo's rare like they did with warlord several years back.

But Yeah it would be the war kills leader board all over again.

^Wow, really? I know that some people used to cheat the fame system in the beginning by using IP hiding programs, but I thought all those issues were fixed. I guess removing fame from char pages was the easiest fix.

But, I think they should have renamed the fame to "clicks" or something like that when they made the change.

Shego you probably have 10k + fames and already have the cheevo, am I right?
I wont let them make it rare until I get 10k+ fames or Ill call it unfair.

And whats so "issue" in faming?
Does it affect your battles?

Yeah I have all the fame cheevo's had them for over 2+ years. Also on the note of them removing it if they do decide to make all the cheevo's go rare (which is highly unlikely) do you think they would care if people called foul due to not getting all of them in time? Nope I don't think so.

But if you read my posts nowhere did I say I supported removing fame. I only mentioned how to put all the 'fame begging' that annoyed the OP to complete stop which would be just that removing the LB and the cheevo's that come with fame.
