If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a ScreenShot must be worth over 9000! This is the official thread to post all your wonderful screenshots on! Because the world of Lore is ever changing, we want YOU to keep a scrapbook of all your awesome adventures. Artix Entertainment uses THOUSANDS of screenshots on our Homepage, Design Notes, Promotional Offers, Press Releases, Online Articles, Magazine Stories, and so much more. How sweet would it be to show off YOUR OWN ScreenShot in one of these? Let’s find out! Use this thread to post a valid link to your own ScreenShot. Here’s what makes an epic ScreenShot epic: •Big clear picture—take your screenshot using the High Visual Quality setting in the game! •Please send us the WHOLE game screen; do not crop it yourselves. We want as much room to work with as possible. •Action packed—fighting a HUGE monster with your buddies makes a better picture. Try to capture your skills going off or monster attacks. •A picture full of your friends—the more people in your screenshot, the better... as long as it's not TOO cluttered! •Dress to Impress—equip your best gear and show it off •Make sure your game chat window is minimized. Seeing a wall full of red or inappropriate text makes your screenshot unusable. •Make sure your game chat window is minimized. Seeing a wall full of red or inappropriate text makes your screenshot unusable. •Keep your game chat window minimized. It clutters up the shot and detracts from the action. •Action screenshots = skills going off, weapons/monsters moving, people healing •NOT action screenshots = people standing around talking, people posing in /unsheathe or other emotes •Big blobs of color are not great. They look like mistakes, or like your image program drooled. You never know if—or when—or where!—your screenshot will be used! **Examples of good screenshots: Dage's Underworld Battle (Grief NPC added) and The Alliance Battle **Example of a bad screenie: http://tinyurl.com/2axojb9 Taking a Screenshot
