 (This is like, my second post ever. Have mercy if I'm putting this in the wrong place. D:)

So Xanpyrus happened in the discussion area, and I couldn't get the image of Papyrus with his head on fire out of my head. So, nyeh! (Edit: He has a body now!)


Still new to this, but, uh. Have a picture of my Elemental Spirit of Light OC?

Joking aside, your Xanpyrus really gave me a laugh!

Also, you mind trying a parody of the boss fight with Asriel, but with this guy instead?

But, uh, I don't think I can manage an Asriel boss-fight parody. I'm just saying, replacing Goat-bro with the Tardigrade King would be preeetty difficult.

Rising from the dead to relieve myself of pre-exam stress through some overdue Dragonfable art! This here's how I've always imagined my main character, Alen, to look like.

DUDE, I just wanna say I absolutely LOVE your characters! I love in your Light Elemental how it goes from yellow to blue.
and the colors in Alen's hair and eyes are just so cool

Aaaah, thanks! That Light Spirit OC of mine is sooooo old, but it's nice to know people think she looks good. I'm glad you think Alen looks cool too. =X

In the midst of making this I gave Alen's eyes super tiny details that I didn't realise would be unnoticeable once he was exported as a 400x400 thing, now you can't see the little gold flecks in his eyes. Phooey.

 Whoop whoop.

Now, Alen is usually a Dragon Lord, but he does switch to Pyromancer from time to time. I like to imagine that Alen has an affinity for nature as well as fire, hence the green parts of his robes. He can probably conjure trees that spontaneously combust? =X

I really appreciate seeing artwork that could potentially be thrown in-game right now.
Also if you see my gallery, you will notice that my overall theme is to rehash and make alternate colours and/or forms of things that are already in-game. To prove that it doesn't have to be a brand new creation to be brand new. The df world already has an entire world of items and dress, so let's do more mix and matching and reecolouring and less brand new creations.
Now that that tangent is over; bravo on the designs, they are very sharp and accurate, with elegant twists on the old colours.

Thanks a bunch, Flamehead! Recoloring and mix-and-matching wasn't so much my goal as pure style-accuracy was. I really did want him to fit in if he ever happened to find himself in-game. Alen's pyromancer robes are actually pretty heavily based off of the pyromancer robes from AQW:

 Back from lurking in the depths once again. This time with more of my beautiful boy, Alen! I've recently fallen in love with the concept of Hexblades and kind of wanted to express that in his new look; a lot of his magical powers would come from the bond he has with his sword (which should've been the Blade of Awe but I couldn't find any PNGs of it!).

Fear not, the bare part of his torso is protected by various magical spells and the like! Besides, no would dare strike the abs.

Pretty Impressive. I wonder who is stronger. Haelon's Fire, Shadow X's Darkness or Alen's Earth. Haha.

 Oh hey. Haelon is GammaCavy's character, right? Well, I don't think his light magic is as strong as her's, since he doesn't specialise in light. The way I see him, Alen is more of a Fire/Earth kind of dude, and his magic is just colored gold. Gotta have them aesthetics.

 Fun fact: Alen dislikes sleeves, but will wear them if there is leorilla fur involved. Call him vain but he really does love the gold/bronze aesthetic. Must be that Awethurian blood or something. :P


As a soulweaver, Alen's usual method of blasting things with concussive firey death and then slicing and dicing the remains takes the back seat as he opts to go with his earth and nature-based powers instead. His ally, Auspices, is the Elemental Spirit of Fortitude. Also he's a stag (perryton once he reaches Baeltael's level, which he will!!). He looks pretty freaking cool in my head, honest. I'll try making him next!

Alen's looms are the color of his eyes, but they're more or less supposed to be the weird cross between Fire and Earth without turning into lava, like the spark that sets off a forest fire. They're in the shape of the Wood looms because I personally don't like how the actual Earth looms look.
