I just re-baught my frost sword and was excited to do some sword-swinging action, but I see that both double strike AND berserk require mauls now. This mean we can never see any multi-swing animations with a sword anymore!

To keep the ballance, maybe have another skill require maul and remove maul requirement from one or both of double strike and berserk. Static smash would probably make the most sense to have a maul requirement, but it is a very integral skill to mercenary. Maybe Adrenaline rush? Like maybe holding a sword isn't as exciting to the blood as holding a maul is in battle?

It should stay the way it is, it was placed this way since swords used to have more damage and stats than clubs, staffs, and clubs.

I mean Strength Mercenaries are still strong, you just have to make good builds that’s all.

I agree with sipping cider. I think they should at least make berzerker with a sword(because double strike would help TLM which doesn’t need any help right now).

If you’re a merc, you’re probably using a club unless you just really want to stick to bunker/surgical only. And tactical is only a club because of atom smash being pretty broken.

Swords *used* to have more stats, now they just have 10 extra damage.

I'm not saying Strength Mercenaries need a buff, I just want to see some of the old multi-swing animations with a sword. Like Berserk, part of the fun of playing EpicDuel for me was wielding my frost sword and going: whoosh, whoosh, WHOOOSH with berserk :)
