It's not fair, but the truth is he's just trying to release a bit of everything lately. Some stuff is varium, some stuff isn't (like Infinity Titan), some stuff is seasonal, some stuff is limited, some stuff is from missions, some stuff is in the Legendary Shops, sometimes he does Arcade, etc.. He's trying to add items to all aspects of the game and this time he happened to do Legendary Shops, which he hasn't added to since December. It's a well rounded way to build the game. If all the weapons that were ever added were always non-varium non-rare items in normal shops, it gets kind of old. There's a lot of variety even in this update with the new Charfade items that don't require ranks to get, the varium CC armor for people who like to spend real money, and mega expensive armors for people with too many credits, so the intent was that there'd be something for everyone... but, obviously, you really just wanted the stuff in the Legendary Shops. I can see why that's upsetting, but it is what it is. If people want ranks removed from the game, it should be because of PvP reasons... the Legendary Shops is an okay idea to me.
