Scourge of the Pumpkin Spies

A chill in the night air tells you AQ's annual Mogloween Event is here! Adventure door-to-door and collect tons of candy which you can then turn in for awesome rewards. This year the Cauldron sisters have organized a huge banquet to make sure this magical season doesn’t get outshined by Frostval... But their notoriously hot-headed chef has had enough of his rivals and gone on a rampage! Find out what’s got his gourd on fire and bring him back in time to save the party!

6K Z-Token Package - Spirit of Harvest Misc:

This ethereal charm gives you resistance to Earth attacks and love for the earth's bounty (+CHA)! It also normally gives +10% gold from battles when in your active inventory, and a +25% boost during November!


Zfinity Gauntlet Series:

Each gauntlet in the Z-finity series offers various elemental protection, coupled with a powerful ability. These amazing Misc items will only available for a limited time, so grab your gauntlets while you can!

They appear to be the same gauntlets as before, but it hasn't been all that long since their initial release so I'm not sure if you can call them seasonal unless they're going to get put on a more regular rotation. Though that would kind of defeat the purpose of them being "limited time" if they come back frequently.

I just hope they aren't sticking around through BF so those who bought them before don't get the feelbads.

I agree with Lord Markov, based on my reasoning below I believe the gauntlets should only be available for 2 weeks and that they shouldn't be available during black friday for them to be discounted. Several players bought them at full price, this would be a shady move and leave a bad taste on the playerbase who bought them at full price.

Here's the history of the gauntlets:

at the time the gauntlets first came out, they were labeled to not return based on the wording. Heres a quote:

The gauntlets came out on April 26th 2019 and went rare on June 3rd 2019, then after a month that the gauntlets went rare and were gone, on July 1st 2019 Hollow said that the gauntlets "May" return with any future Marvel Cinamatic Universe Movie. That was a shady move because why would you say that the gauntlets might come back 1 month AFTER they went rare? clearly to get as many players as possible to initially buy them. Alot of players bought them for the reason that it sounded like they were not returning.

I seriously expect the staff to do the right thing here. AND I am calling for true total clarification on whether a item might return during the initial release of that item, not waiting for items to go rare then after they leave saying that they may return just to get as many people to buy it initially as possible.

I think it was mentioned before if the movie series they based on the movies came back the items would as well so if the universe continues then the items would make a return. It may have been mentioned over discord, and I know at least one person directly asked for them to be put out one last time. Long as they aren't discounted for round 2 I don't see much of an issue with them coming back personally seeing they were unique effect wise just you know don't milk it after the movie series is done with.

 For those of you wondering which Gauntlets to buy, I highly suggest the Power Gauntlet as the top priority, as it is a source of damage that stacks with other miscs and is quite unique overall.

@Warren. I doubt this will clear things up as much as you wish for in your post, but this subject has come up in a wider context previously. Rares have been re-released a number of times previously, and aren't always welcomed. The simple rule that we have managed to work out: Unless the post specifically states "gone forever", the item is subject to return at staff discretion. The wording...

...does not do this, so it was expected to return. Honestly, them returning pretty quickly makes sense. They were extremely popular token items where everyone wins. Players get a good item, staff benefit from token sales. Since they're attached to a canon MCU release (even that is conditional. They weren't released earlier this year with another MCU release), they retain a level of exclusivity and make themselves more attractive. So in respect to your wish for clarity on whether items are re-released, that's already been addressed (albeit in a slightly ambiguous fashion). I disagree with the "shady" term though, there was nothing said about these items leaving forever.

What remains to be seen is how long they stick around for. I don't recall any standard for whether they become available at the same price. Black Friday is a little ambiguous to begin with, since the discounts have fluctuated over the years. Token items are regularly discounted, which some players pay full price for. The real question here is whether a rare item should get the same discount (or be available during that discounting season). I personally disagree with your point of view. I don't believe the playerbase is going to up-in-arms because a few token miscs were re-released and discounted. If anything, I know quite a few people that are extremely happy about the decision, as they missed their first appearance. Nonetheless, I think some clarity about how long they stick around for would be a good idea.

If Hollow said during the release of the gauntlets that they may return in any future MCU Movie I would not have bought them and would have bought them later. The fact that Hollow said they can return after the gauntlets were long gone after 1 month is ridiculous, whatever opinion you have, it's not disagreeable that that move was extremely poorly done and infact shady obviously intentional and that is why I don't want them discounted during black friday or them around during black friday.

@CH4OT1C! This is 100% false. You just made that up, that was never the case. The wording with the gauntlets clearly means it woudn't return "only available until june" after june you wont be able to ever get them again. That's very clear.

 As far as I know it's always been "gone forever" means perma rare (unless someone forgets), while "only available till" generally means it's gone at the end of the stated time frame but can return. This isn't anything new, it's a limited time frame but not necessarily a 1 time thing.

I also hope I don't have to remind people to be civil.

Is today the last day to buy the zombie hunter armor?

 Zombie Hunter Set was released later than expected so it will be around for at least 1 more week.

The annual Mogloween Event has begun! Adventure door-to-door and collect tons of candy to trade in for awesome rewards. Also find the Z-Finity Gauntlets in the Limited-Time Shop. Plus the Spirit of Harvest Z-Token package returns!

What is the difference between pumpkin overlord and sinister pumpkin overlord? I can't find the latter on the encyclopedia or info subs.

A quick-cast once per battle earth spell and a fire guest with a stun toggle.

It's an SP guest.

Also as some have noted the usual Mogloween Portal painting is nowhere to be found. It isn't in the LTS or Mogloween LTS and isn't in the new yearly quest from this year or the previous year. Is this intentional?

 already have it's painting on 5 of my chars. not getting it for my 6th char(this char is not a guardian). yet. hopefully it returns so people can get it.

edit looks like i don't have enough tokens to get the gauntlet set maybe if they go on sale i can get them. they seem neat.

Power is easily the first choice - qc multi-elemental elevuln is incredibly good, and it stacks both ways with the Frostval weapons, allowing you to get incredibly high numbers.

Time is a secondary priority - its qc guaranteed stun (against any monsters w/o stun immunity) can be very useful.

Mind gives qc mp heal, which is very nice for players w/o Pixel Ether.

Space has a skill to give EleSHield and a skill to increase MRM - not very meta, but occasionally useful.

Soul is just a slightly more efficient version of Essence Orb - not worth it for anybody short on tokens.
