So what do you think the Corrupted Seven chest will contain? And what do you think the Proclamation Medals will be able for us to purchase?
For the Proclamation Medals, I am guessing it will have at least a bracer. As in an all new bracer we can upgrade that will, at maximum level, be best in slot. Or, even better, be able to finally upgrade the Legion Bracer from the Inn at the Edge of Time with Proclamation Medals, as I was, in a way, hoping players could obtain said bracer at the inn from the Crawler and Centaur and then upgrade it to their desired level with some items. Which proclamation medals would be great for. I was originally thinking defender’s medals or items from the Inn at the Edge of Time. I am grinding proclamation medals as we speak to prepare for what the devs have planned for them. Of existing items, bracers are the only item we do not have an extremely powerful version for a level 90 as far as I know. It is extremely powerful for level 1, indeed, and up to maybe level 25 or 30 it’s decent, but then, meh, it really needs upgrades to be up to par at level 90. The Legion Bracer is BiS sure, but only because we have so few to choose from for that item slot.
I am hoping we do not get something lame like more weapons, helms, cloaks, belts, necklaces, rings, or trinkets, God knows we have plenty of those for now. And especially for weapons the Necrotic Sword of Doom and for accessories the maximum level defender’s dragon belt, defender’s dragon necklace, defender’s dragon ring, and Elemental Unity Defenders should always remain best in slot.
Not intended to be a suggestion to the devs, what they’ve planned I will be satisfied with, but I’m hoping the corrupted seven chest will contain something completely unique. Something like defeating 2 of the bosses each (the items from defeating them) will allow you 5 natural base stat points to train (so our trained stats end in an even multiple of 50 if they increase level caps by multiples of 10) or defeating 3 of the bosses each (the items from defeating them) will allow you to wear 2 rings at once (NOT identical or similar though, you shouldn’t be able to wear two defender’s rings of any kind together, even if they are different ranks or one dragon and one regular, but I can wear my Defender’s Dragon Ring XXXII with my level 90 Red Soulforged Ring for example). Again, I’d hate for it to just be another weapon or accessory for all the work and planning they’ve put into it as well as the patience we have had, especially since the last chest did not open when Pride was released. Anyway, that’s as close to a suggestion as I’m getting. This is not intended to be a suggestion thread, and so I’m not saying any more about that. If the chest is not going to contain something completely unique like that, I guess a new class armor would not be too bad, but between Doom Knight and Chaosweaver we have powerful classes covered. And if the devs don’t go that route, perhaps the BiS bracer in the game? I really don’t know what they have planned. Having two sources for new bracers though would be redundant though. Just my two cents, but I really think the corrupted seven chest should contain something not found anywhere else in the game, a new feature / ability to be unlocked. But that’s just me.
I’m not complaining about this game. I passionately love and enjoy this game. Between my younger brother and I, we have spent over $500 on upgrades and in-game currency among this game and three other Artix Entertainment games, and we do not regret doing so, and I plan to spend more, including another $20 just within the next few days. I just am anticipating what is to come in the near future and attempting to foresee it to see if I’m right or wrong.
