I just had an idea. What if all of us proposing to a famous youtube gamer channel, such as Markiplier or Game Grumps, to play DF on their channel?

Also, if you can think of any other famous youtubers who could help spread the word about DF, feel free to mention them!

Markimoo = Don't see him willing to play this game as a series.
Game Grump = They play console games only I doubt they play browser based games.

The other problem, simply put, is that Dragonfable isn't really the right sort of game for a Let's Play or YouTube series. For one, it's too long, and too linear. There isn't enough wiggle room for a YouTuber to add their own spin to it, or to provide amusing commentary. For another, there's no voice acting throughout 99% of the game, so anyone doing a lets play would either have to be silent, or read it out themself. And that would get very tiring. The gameplay is also too...simplistic and old fashioned to enjoy watching. It's fun as hell to play, but I can't really see a YouTube series of it being particularly engaging, let alone successful.

Most YouTubers who play games on YouTube are getting compensation in terms of monetary or merchandise as a token of appreciation. Since AE has not been putting any campaign online to market the games, I doubt we would see YouTubers playing anytime soon.

Buuuuuuuuuut if AE do try to sponsor Youtubers there might be a chance that will give their games a shout-out and give traffic to this game (But that's a MASSIVE "if").

Outside of Inn challenges, there's no content that would warrant streaming and the like to try to draw people in. And due to it being endgame content, you're not going to be able to convince people to go through literally years of storyline and grinding to get to what they want to do.

FFXIV has the same issue. All the streamers for that title only stream endgame content rather than the slog that is getting to that content because no one wants to watch someone go through a million quests or kind boring dungeons.

I feel like DF, and AE games in general isn't suited for youtube. Games that make it big tends be exciting and flashy. DF just isn't exciting to watch for an outsider, especially when most of it is repetitive grinding. Inn challenges are fun for us, as we can understand and appreciate the strategies used, but to an outsider it looks no different from any other fight. This isn't a dig against any of the games, it's just that they were made in a different era for a different audience.
