 So are we just gunna ignore that elpis is tomix and pandora fused together into a new spirit called the elemental spirit of hope? that's my headcanon for now at least. I haven't seen any post regarding this so apologies if it has already been discussed.

elpis has the same scar on his nose as tomix and envy. though I think envy had it because the geezer tried to look flex like tomix. Also elpis has 3 sets of arms and some are in a bit of a feminine position, which indicates pandoras presence.
The description mentions him knowing the player somehow and a feeling of sadness emanating from him. makes sense as Pandora and tomix know is and have gone through considerably hardships in life.

If elpis is indeed what tomix is now, I hope the devs dont just let that be the end of it his character. Elpis and Secundus could be rivals or be each others nemeses.

This is my absolute favourite topic, and such, I must divulge.

Unfortunately, the Inn at the Edge of Time (and it's rewards) are only semi-canon. Some fights and rewards our OUR canon, and some fights and rewards are the canon of our other selves from different timelines. and because of this, we can't confirm nor deny that within our timeline, Tomix fused with Envy and Pandora to create Elpis once he jumped into the Ynnungaap Core.

I personally believe that yes, Elpis is an amalgamation of himself, Envy and Tomix, that much is obvious. 6 eyes, Tomix's weaver coat, 6 arms (2 pairs of male and 1 pair of female), a somewhat resemblance of Tomix/Envy's hair before it fades to Pandora's, Pandora's Cube and Tomix's scar and I am positive that there's more dead giveaways, but it is not OUR hero's canon I'm afraid as I don't think Tomix became an Elemental Spirit because his essence seems to have... disintegrated.

Elpis definitely seems to represent a what-if/parallel/"happy" ending for Pandora and Tomix, although the pseudocanon nature of the Inn means it's probably just that, as the the two being unravelled was pretty crucial to Envy's death in our world.

I really like the idea that it's got a bit of Envy mixed in too though. Given how Secundus manifested, the 6 eyes would be a consistent design cue for sure.

Ooohh so that's the cape you get from completing Pandora's Challenge! Huh. I certainly learned something today.

Yes, I would agree with Glais. Elpis certainly doesn't exist in our timeline. I'm fairly certain that whatever remains of Tomix exists in Piotr. Certainly not the happiest outcome, considering the company he has though...
