is there a guide on what is the order of the quests for book 3 to do to follow the story? last quest i played in the rose storyline before taking a break was the gala and now im a bit lost

Did you take a look at the Book 3 Timeline in your Book of Lore?

Not exactly, it is a bit bugged. But just go to Sulen'Eska, there you can continue the storyline.
