I'm really hoping the set with have some sort of bonus against dragons due to being a dragonlord armor. FO wind armor with a special proc would be an awesome wind dragon killer.

You're thinking of DragonSlayer. DragonLords are friends with Dragons.

So, buff to dragon pets or celerity vs dragons? "The dragon amulet commands the dragon to stand down for a turn."

I played the old Arch-Knight game more than I played actual DF so I'm hazy on what the Dragon Amulet can do. I thought it commanded the dragon. Perhaps I should read up a bit.

The Amulets act as a link between the DL and their Dragon. From what we've been seeing though, it's unlikely we'll find any in there. Celestia was apparently targeted by whoever set off the Event, and she didn't seem to have an apprentice this time.

Oh wow, this is exactly the offensive wind set everyone's been asking for.

A spell-based skill with a blood cost is really pushing the boundaries of how powerful an F2P set can be and I really appreciate it. I'm hoping if the old Mastercraft sets are updated to modern standards (Taladosian, HSVV) we'll see them get similar costs to keep their power on-par with old lean elecomp

Overall, a pretty nice release.

The dialogue flows naturally, the story is interesting (as a DF player, I really liked hearing about Vilmor and Cryozen Jr.), and we finally find out what happened, plus bits of dragonlore.

The boss fight was a bit underwhelming for a former Great Dragon, but, I suppose, he's a bit off his game at the moment.

In regards to the items:

- The misc seems to be a nice fit for backlashers.

- The armor's the new wind BiS (discounting premium items). The daze toggle would probably be better as a single turn 50% stun, but a f2p FO wind armor with a nuke is great nontheless.

- The shield is pretty broken with PR shenanigans. Invincibility is back in style?

- The weapons... seem to be bugged? I'm healing 200-300 sp per turn with the sword. It looks to be a liiiitle op.

Edit: Oh, and the art is absolutely great! I love it!

 Has been a while since I bought a Mastercraft set, will be treating myself :) The last Wind set I think I had was Fujin, that's going back some!

Weapons are pretty much BIS wind stuff when it comes to resource acquisition, MP and SP wise for free players.

Armor is pretty fun and the shield is OP, honestly surprised its not a single cast per turn, but i don't think i know of any other chi shields than gandolphin so i wouldn't know.


@Zork Knight Aren't those usually called Dragonmasters?
