Welcome back! First of all, as you may have noticed, the stat cap has been raised to 250. This means that a fully optimized warrior usually has 250 Str/Dex/Luck. Secondly, a number of subraces (not dracopyre) has been revamped. A 0-Int FO warrior would be best served by Werewolf, as it has Str/Dex drives and an sp costing Beast Mode that pretty much doubles your damage. So go to Darkovia, cure yourself, complete the Werewolf quests (including the advanced one) to unlock a 9th slot no-drop Werewolf Transformation armor! Finally, I highly recommend familiarizing yourself with the Commonly Used Strategies page, particularly the Purple Rain loop. The basic idea behind the current meta is to stun-lock the monster, then crush it with powerful elecomped skills. Now, without further ado: Weapons Most FO builds align their Awe weapon specials to PWD for a 4% chance of instantly killing the monster. Bloodzerker weapons are top of the line for fire, water and earth elements. For an hp cost they boost your weapon damage by 20% and have minor FSB bonuses with Bloodzerker armors. Haunted Dragonlord's Might/Charge restore your sp based on the number of hits you've made. When paired with Beast Form's 4 hits, you can basically recover all of its upkeep cost! Horo Show is still the cheapest source of Harm damage for warriors. I believe the Decorate the Tree Frostval quest still has last year's Thundersplitter/Lord of Thunder's Spear. These energy weapons toggle between inflicting Burn for an hp cost and autohitting, which can be really handy. Zabura's Hammer / Zakiya's Spear have a compressed skill, which synergizes with Bloodzerker toggles for high damage. If you want something simpler, Lumenomancer Bloodblade is effectively a Bloodzerker weapon clone, but w/o the FSB. Armors Bloodzerker armors are the strongest options for fire, water and energy. They deal +20% damage for an hp cost and have a toggle that doubles your weapon damage (and locks it to armor element). If you don't have 3 spare URs, your Moglord Tortress, Taladosian and either Torontosaurus (great with Haunted DL weapons) or War armors can take their place. Haunted Dragonlord Armor has the best (non-premium) wind skill. Even with the CIT nerf, Horo Show has the strongest ice skill available to warriors. Werewolf Transformation no-drop will act as your earth armor. This year gave us the first fully updated endgame class in Paladin. It has 20 (20!) skills, including Inner Light nuke (almost as powerful as WKZ), Manifestation guest (toggle to boost your light damage), a chargable ressurection and a wide variety of anti-undead passives. Avenger variant is best suited for warriors. Angel of Souls has a weapon-based darkness skill that costs hp. Shields Avenger's Bulwark charges up a free EleShield. The shield's element is fire if your knight alignment is to Demons. The revamped Kindred shield slowly gathers charges for a qc sp heal. Situational, but can be useful. There are 2 nice wind shields. Fujin has a Dex drive, increasing the accuracy of all your attacks. Haunted Dragonlord's Will gives you a qc sp-costing Barrier. With proper Purple Rain usage, you can basically become immortal. Pies has a Cha drive, which will provide a boost to your Angra Linnorn pet and Essence of Carnage/Dunamis/Thernda and Manifestation guests. Chieftain's Ironthorn has been updated to give a Str drive, making it the best earth shield for warriors. We don't really have any exceptional energy shields, so the best I can offer is Umazen Aspis, which gives -26 energy. Scarab Shell has a toggle to lower monster MRM, boosting the accuracy of all your attacks. Spells Purple Rain is pretty much a staple of the current meta. It acts as a saving point - cast it once, stack all your buffs and debuffs, then cast it again to return your (and monster's) sp/mp/hp to prior values. Check out Purple Rain Loop in Commonly Used Strategies linked above for more info. Some of the spells you can cast inside the loop: - Moonwalker's Grace. Qc Dex booster. Costs mp. - Edoc Imanok. Qc MRM boost, enhances your blocking. - Dragonguard Invocation. Makes your next attack an automatic Lucky Strike. Not qc. - Imbues. Can change the element of your next weapon attack or weapon-based skill (not spell/spell-based skill!) and often have other nice bonuses. Fire Dragon Talon makes HoroShow nuke deal fire with 50% damage bonus, Dragonslayer Aura makes you deal Void damage to dragons, and so on. Cost tokens. Dunamis and Thernda guests do no damage, but boost the damage of your melee and ranged attacks respectively. If you don't have 2 spare URs, Essence of Carnage (Rampant Mode) does something similar. The boost is less, but it also comes with Backlash, able to reflect back some of the monster's damage. Your Body Heals at the Speed of Light is a unique healing spell that uses the monster's Light Resistance for numbers. It also doesn't have *.9 'always-useful' penalty, which makes it better against any monster with LightRes>90%. Finally, it uses Dex for stats instead of End. Pets Angra Linnorm is basically the pet version of Essence of Carnage. At 0 Cha, you have little reason to use anything else. Miscs Essence Orb is one of the most important miscs released in recent years. It allows for qc conversion of hp into sp, allowing you to spam skills every single turn. It's slated for a nerf sometime in the coming months though, so keep that in mind. Windter Crown gives an omni-elemental omni-type damage boost, which makes it one of the most versatile damage miscs in the game. Elemental resistance miscs have become somewhat obsolete in the recent years - the monster tends to die long before the misc makes any difference. If you want a safety net, Cyclops' Eye covers all of the elements in one slot. SFP is one of the best meta miscs in the game. It can grant you qc celerity for an sp cost, giving it ridiculous synergy with Purple Rain and Essence Orb. Love Potion is another great meta misc (stackable qc control), but it only comes back at Snugglefest. Bell Shell heals a bit of your hp based on damage dealt. The heal is less than CoRS', but it also doesn't reduce your damage, making it an overall better choice for FO builds. Morningstar Helm gives immunity to paralysis. If you want something a little more sp-efficient, Blood Ruby and Liquid Courage give resistances to paralysis and fear respectively. Hope the info's useful and don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions!
