Kathool Adept is actually very good in a sense; it has a few select skills that are very good (Writhe, Shadow, and Kathool) and some other decent buffs/debuffs (Mad, Ink Spray). The rest of the class is rather mediocre, but those good skills, when used correctly, can complete most inn challenges, I believe. Icebound Revenant isn't the best outside of its potential to lower Ice resistance by large amounts, and is typically only used for trivialising fights rather than actively working around their mechanics. Necro Paragon's skillset is identical to Necromancer's, and each skill unlocks with the corresponding skill of that class, so it'd be worthwhile training and experimenting with that class beforehand if you wanted to see what its playstyle is like. Chaosweaver is definitely a good, more hyper-offensive option for a lot of challenges, with some neat defensive skills like death/stun resistance. I'd have recommended it over Icebound Revenant, definitely.
