Was using the doom knight armor to hastily collect the fragmented blade item so I could make Uthuluc a bit easier; I went to swordhaven fields and fought some vurrmen and while fighting them, used the corruption skill and doomspikes. I noticed something was wrong since the vurrmen moved while they were supposed to be stunned, but they had a status effect that read "shaking off the corruption (2) turns" or something like that. I looked at the doomknight armor skills to see if maybe I missed a special interaction with the corruption skill. Nothing about it there. Then I checked the vurrmen monster page, because maybe that interaction is listed there. Nothing again. Is this something new or am I not looking in the right place? I'll try to recreate it and post a picture too. And idk if this helps, but the vurrmens immobility resistance was 0.

'Shaking off the corruption' only happens if the enemy's race is Avian, Beast, Bug, Fungus, or Plant. In other words, the Vurrman's race is Beast.
