Rage typically takes 3 turn for the turn player to get. I think rage % gain should be lowered or the turn player not to have rage on their 1st attack because it isn’t fair for the 2nd player to just continuously be punished by how broken some of these cores have been made to be.

Beep Beep! ArchKnight AQ / ED

A lot of cores in the previous update were reworked. Both standalone and cores in bots. It may seem like a radical change but at the bottom it says there is always time to go over them again if the team decides they are too strong. I've only played with a select few since the update went live so I've no idea about all of them. If they think rage needs looking at then so will Adrenaline Rush on Mercenary. Gradually more complicated when you look into it.

Just a case of waiting and seeing what comes in future updates. Rage has stayed the same for as long as I can remember, unless there have been adjustment when I left for a while I cannot remember very well.

Most of the reworks asserts for more aggressive build, which sucks as the 2nd player and/or in a mirror match. I also don’t see the nerf for Rex and buff for Gamma bit when you could’ve buffed Gamma without nerfing Rex. Rex will slowly turn into another IA by nerfing accessible bot for everyone to get and buffing rare bots that some people won’t have a chance to.

Rage is only as good as it’s the meta. Cores weren’t as prevalent in a persons build as they are now and so rage worked well. It had more to do with how a skilled a player was, which is why most players enjoyed the game back then. Cores drastically throws off balancing the game.

Rage is a powerful tool because it ignores a significant portion of defenses for free, and it's all the more powerful due to how useful support is in general. I think you have a point about how powerful it is with how strong cores are in general, and if support is going to improve Rage and gain and Rage defense ignore, the scaling should come down somewhat.

As for the Mini Rex thing, keep in mind that other bots were buffed as well, most of which are accessible to normal players. Mini Rex was far and away and the most powerful offensive bot in the game until recently, to the point where it wasn't worth using other bots at all unless you had no choice. Rex is still one of the best, but there are alternatives that work better for and against certain builds now. That's the way it's supposed to work, instead of having one bot be more powerful than the others in any given situation.
