After grinding for several hours at a time trying to get Breeze Essence from any of the three quests that drop it and from Ash's challenge quest specifically, You Need More Iron In Your Gut; I came to the conclusion that this item needs a tweak or a better alternative to obtain it. Other players have had an issue with its rng as you can tell from the other forums about this problem. Players like myself don't want to grind to this degree for an item like this one just to progress the Frostval chapter 8 List. It's not the same as something such as the Peculiar Visor. It is way to rng for this thing, I had 6 condensed scrap metal cubes to show that.

You Need More Iron in Your Diet is rare. Voltabolt's Challenge now leads to a different quest.

Belly of the Best is probably your best bet.

Thread moved to DragonFable Q&A.

As AstralCodex has mentioned, and as its pedia entry might suggest, the quest 'You Need More Iron In Your Diet' was replaced by 'Voltabolt's Challenge', and Breeze Essence does not drop from this modernised version of the quest as per many complaints of it appearing too frequently whilst level grinding. That said, the Breeze Essence pedia entry doesn't explicitly indicate that this quest is no longer an option so I will see to it that is clarified.

In my personal experience, Belly Of The Beast is a much better farming option for this particular resource. Best of luck!
