Welcome back! As you've noticed stats have changed. You only need 1 main stat (str, dex, or int) and then you can put the rest into any 2 of 3 secondary stats (cha, end, luk). It looks like you want to play a tank warrior so your stats would be 250 STR/LUK/END as you are already building up. For knowledge about how to catch up, consulting the AQ wikia is helpful, and especially the equipment guide. If you're not too keen on the recommendations, you can toggle off various categories like Rare, Seasonal, Void, Premium, GGB, etc. If you're not too keen on pursuing MasterCraft Sets due to their inability to be upgraded without questing, just reply in this thread and we'll be able to give you alternative recommendations. As for what you can immediately be doing: (without a single Premium/Unavailable option) No-Drops: Water is the weakest coverage right now so setting this to Water will cover your Weapon, Shield and Armor (though WHEEL is still strong enough that you can keep using it while using no-drop for water). Otherwise I have provided Water suggestions if you decide not to do that. Armors: Ice: Master Fighter Class: Get this! It was updated just recently and should provide you a strong Ice Armor option. Light: T3 Class: Since you're a Warrior, focus on getting Paladin as Necromancer is specialized for mages. This will pretty much be your Light Armor. Fire: TorontoSaurus Rex: Get this for your Fire armor! You can get this at Chilly's Shop at Frostval. Wind: Either Haunted Dragonlord (if you're okay with questing for it a lot) or Axemaster's Burden from the Burning Solstice Epilogue. Earth/Water: You can stick with WHEEL For now. Although Kindred is available for Water (but the quest is long and difficult). Energy: Tempest Power Armor H-Series. Quite possibly the strongest armor in the game in terms of raw damage output. Dark: Your choice of Shadowfall Raiment or Angel of Souls. I would recommend the former as the later is an MC set and getting the 100 hourglasses is quite annoying. Shields: Fire/Light: Stick with Fireworks Energy/Ice: Carpa Somnia from Devourer Saga (A Day at the Inn) Earth/Water: Bac-ler. Also provides secondary resistances to Fire and Dark Respectively. Wind: You could stick with Stout Talon, although the Haunted Dragonlord Will is excellent if you're willing to quest for it multiple times as you level up. Dark: You can continue getting the Twilight Shield, although the Eclipsed Dragonlord Will is excellent for Dark. Same place as its Haunted counterpart. Utility: Chieftain's Ironthorn (Earth). +STR Drive. If you've been gone for awhile this has been updated and no longer gives out the 1.5x Damage but instead now provides +STR instead for an SP cost. Utility: Doray: Can get you out of tricky situations with its rewind mechanic. Utility: Anything else you might be wanting in addition to covering all 8 elements. Possibly Umazen Aspis Shield for Twinmaul Stun combos. Others: See it as your needs are required. Though I like using Sole Shield as it's one of the few shields that regens SP. Weapons: Fire/Dark: You can stick with Infernal Bludrunt Blade, but you might want to go to your account manager to upgrade this so it scales automatically to your level! Wind: You can stick with Long Talon here. But don't forget to upgrade it through the account manager! Ice: Burden of Insight. You'll want at least 1 auto-hit option if you don't want to conflict with Long Talon for Wind and Divine Kusanagi Sword. Enemies dodge a lot more than they used to so you'll need this. Energy: Mighty Caissa. This should replace Horro-Show for your utility Harm option as this retains the full damage while in Harm Mode AND also burns your opponent. Earth: Terminus Twinmaul. Very strong against bosses and has a nice setup stunlock setup with Spotter Drake and Umazen Aspis. Light: Either Zabura's Hammer, Gatekeeper's Edge, or use Olympax for this. (Join Clan Lucian to set it to Light). Water: Katar of Water. One of the few weapons that can burn MP. Find this at the Neko Haven Armory. Utility: If you have space for this, I recommend Nith's Fang from Eigurbuld in the Devourer Saga as it's one of the few free sources of SP regen from the weapon slot. Spells: Purple Rain: It has been adjusted but it's still good for resetting fights. You just can't use it on the same turn anymore. Essence of Carnage: Provides one of the few sources of non-premium damage boosts, along with a backlash status. Edoc Imanok: If you need a quick Defense Boost for a hard fight. Invincible Star: Use this! It's even better than the above in terms of tanking hits. Frostval Merc's Regen: Occasionally useful. Although I prefer Water of Immortality over this. Especially now you're thinking about building into END. Though this is also quite weak. You may be better off using potions instead for healing... Pets: Cometoid Jelly: Use this! It's by far the best healing pet in the game ever. You can use the account manager to "upgrade" this between Ice and Energy flavors. If you got this on multiple characters you can upgrade one and have both flavors on a character. Fairy Godmother: Otherwise the most practical healing option. More reliable as you don't need to land hits on the enemy, but has a lower max heal potential. Nightmaregon: Healing for Dark. You can stick with this. Spotter Drake: Can either reduce your Earth Damage intake or give you generic status potency. Use this if you plan to inflict lots of effects. You will have to quest to upgrade this. Angra Linnorm: Provides one of the few non-premium boosting options in the game, as well as provides a backlash status. You will have to quest to upgrade this. Underwyrmling: Extremely useful against enemies with skill attacks. Others: What best fits you with the last 2 remaining slots. One thing to keep in mind if you're running 3 healing pets is that Pet healing increases with CHA, and not END. You will still get heals, but just not as much nor as effectively. Misc: Essence Orb: Converts HP to SP. Use this to be able to use skills in battles more often. Just be careful about using it too much... Shadowfeeder Pendant: Use this! Celerity is one of the strongest statuses in the game and this can single-handedly win you battles. Windter Crown: Use this! It gives you +20% damage and provides MK for your Long Talon and Stout Talon. Quadforce: Also provides +20% damage while also being able to max out stats temporarily during a battle. Zardade: Use this! You probably want at least 1 defensive misc for a hard fight. Red/Blue Server Caps: Use these! You are one of the few people I have seen who still have these. These are some of the strongest items in the game that can modify your LUKy strike behavior. Bell Shell: Very useful against earth enemies and great for longer battles. Heals your HP based on a % of damage dealt. Most of the locations for these items can be found inside the equipment guide, BUT if you want links provided or can't find them, post again in this thread and I'll give you the locations/links. For your Z-tokens, hold off until Black Friday. You can sell your House and then buy it back for half the price (although only half the sellback price as well). Z-items will be off by 50% for that weekend. Otherwise with your interest, you can use that equity and buy more houses for your other characters; which I highly recommend doing because houses also provide valuable inventory space, painting slots and the ability to enter player ID's for farming house guards. I also see quite a lot of Mage items on your account. If you're re-interested in AQ I highly recommend buying a Vault (500 Z-tokens) in your inventory so that you can send those Mage items to a secondary character in your account. If you give your new Mage character a Hydromancer Bloodmage through the Vault for example, they'll be pretty much stomping past the early game as nothing can really compete with those items in the early game. I also recommend doing this to offload any inventory space if you find yourself running out of space.
