in August it's the 10th anniversary of Tomix's death and sacrifice. In the the almost 20(!) years since DF existed we have been protecting Lore against many kinds of evil and disasters however not without some sacrifice. We've lost some friends and frenemies along the journey:
Tomix:2014 August 15th The most devastating and heartbreaking in my opinion. Maybe it's the amount of work the staff put into the ending of the Tomix saga, or the fact how Tomix as a character was so well written,maybe it's just my personal feeling but it was the one death in the game which i couldn't get over.
Danyel:2016 March 26th The hero and Tomix's family will never know the sacrifice he made to protect Lore...
Grams:2011 May 18th Neither the hero nor her family knows as long as i remember that she wasn't a traitor but in fact kidnapped and possible killed by Sepulchure and it's just overall a horrible situation. Don't you want to confess something Amadeus?!
Demento:2009 July 25th He fought bravely until his last moment. Isn't that right Konnan?
Celestia: 2011 May 22th We have so much to thank her. The previous quest in which we "visited" her was a bit of sad but also wholesome at the same time.
Mr Nameless: 2019 December 17th Such a sad end for a misunderstood character. At least he found happiness and joy with the company of others before his end.
Remthalas:2022 June 3rd Even though how much misery he caused it was sad to see him go,at least he's now free from Kathool's corruption.

My point is the hero lost quite a few important person to them and it honestly feels bad them almost being forgotten and not mentioned again. Like i don't know i guess it would be nice if around the anniversary of their death the hero would visit their family/grave, take care of their grave and collect flowers, personal mementos to decorate them. Or in some cases even just know the truth what happened to them. The previous release called "Dragonsbreath" is a perfect example, no big cutscenes just us the hero go visit one of our friend's memorial,talk to them and maybe defeat some monsters in the process.
