From now on I will be giving occasional Artistic Guides. Each One will be added to this first post and the newest will be in the topic title. You may leave questions or comments that I will deal with personally. You may leave anything you think I missed or you can type up your own guide and Pm it to me. If I decide that your guide points out an issue or has something important or helpful to say then I will post it here.

Guide 1: Your Avvie And You.

I believe an avvie should not only add style to your posts, but represent you and your personality. Take my avvie for instance, the char in my avvie is calm and content, as am I. Also, this character seems relaxed. Well most of the time so am I. Understand? Look closely at the character, he seems young but mature. The same goes for me. Guess my age. Your probably gonna guess wrong. I'm 13 but I have the maturity of a 16 year old. See my avvie and I have a lot in common. How about you and yours? Or does your avvie conteract your personality and balence you out? Think about your avvie and think about you. Are you happy, sad, angry, or tired? How bout your avvie? Does it represent you or balence you?

Choosing An Avvie That Fits You:
Choosing an avvie can be hard. Ask others what they think of you and if a lot of people say the same thing, then it's probably true. Maybe you know what you want but can't find it. Go to the clan avatars. Ignore the text on the avvie and take it as a part of you. My avvie says Ragnarok Guild but I've never even seen the place.

What have we learned:
1. Avvies can not only add style, they can also represent.
2. Avvies can represent you or balence you.
3. Choosing an avvie can be hard.
4. Others can help you find out which avvie fits you best.
5. Just because an avvie has a clan name on it doesn't mean your in that clan.

Guide 2: Getting Artistic Ideas.

Thinking of an idea for your art isn't easy. It can take hours to think of a good idea that your abillity can handle. Here's a few hints. DO NOT, invision the picture as a professional drew it. DO invision it as if it were drawn by someone lesser than you. If you invision it as a pro drew it, you won't make it to the standard you want and mess up badly. If you invision it as if someone lesser drew it, you will se yourself drawing it better and your boosted morale will enable you to draw better. When choosing an idea, think of how you feel at the moment and draw your character in that mood. Doing this will allow you to relate to the character and show him in the best possible mood. When getting an idea for the background, think of the mood and moment. For calmer and darker moods, use mostly dark colors and very few light colors. For happy, active moods, use almost all light colors. Whats your character doing? Fighting, running, jumping, sitting, singing, playing an instrument? Fantasy characters can be drawn in any position, as long as its slightly realistic, real-life characters need to be as real as possible. Does your character have a pet? If so what is it, a cat, a dog? Heck it doesn't even have to exist! Can't figure out what to draw? Think of a T.V. show you like and draw a character you could add to the show.

What have we learned:
1. Invisioning the picture as if a pro did it will only make your picture look worse
2. Using your feelings in the character can often help
3. Lighter colors= Happier Mood
4. Darker Colors= Calmer mood
5. Most characters can be drawn in any position
6. Characters pets don't have to exist
7. Trying to add a character to your favorite T.V. show can be a good way to get started.

Guide 3: Special Guide: Creative Speak

Speaking with creative words can help define your personality. Here are some creative word and what they mean.

-han: A dimunitve word used to speak to someone you are not exactly friends with.
-chan: Can be used for either a girl you are passionaite about or as a dimunitve word.
-kun: A term of general respect.
-sama: Can be used as a term of higher respect or as a term for someone you are crushing. Wiked hard.
-san: A term of higher respect.
-dono: Honorific. Only used for the most respected people.
-ecchi: Pervert.
For the kind of speak above putting nothing after the name of one just means you are not sure how to define the person yet.
Oro: Oro just puts emotion into a word.
Master-: A respectful term for a male.
Miss/Misstress-: A respectful term for a female.

Okay, there are the current guides. Enjoy!

lol. likewise. By the sounds of it, you're a little rebellious as well kereo. Mostly (from what i gathered) because your avatars a clan avatar and you're not in that clan! lol.

Hmm, You seem blind, but you see much. You seem quiet and weak but your strong and hard. In other words, your not who you seem.

So I guess I'm a floating circle that says BTN on it. woo -_-

Well, anyway you might need to add that some avatars don't really represent people. But if you look farther in, you will see that I'm not a floating circle, but a humorous BTN trainee

I guess avatar represent the people...I mean, mine is me...So, ya, I guess it is me... >_> Ya...

Still, it goes to the whole thing as in some people just pick cool pictures. Or some pick it for there clan, or stuff like that. Others will wear something that does mean something.

Mine probably exudes my excitement over the Christmas date that is to occur at the time of the date that is stated in the aforementioned avatar. [/snobby-accent]

Anyway, avatars will, most likely, show what you like. I wouldn't be afraid to say that most people who have Werewolves on their avatar are likely to be beat up very easily, unlike an actual Werewolf, or a person with a certain AQ character is not like him/her in anyway, but instead think that they look nifty... or that those with woman on their avatars may actually be male! Gasp!

But this IS a guide for choosing an avatar, so... yeah. Short, but decent nontheless. Just remember that some people can fool themselves into thinking that they are what they are not.

Hey your avvie has my 14 birthday in it! Yay!

Art-Kun, this will have more than just this and you misunderstood the guide. But I still see your point. Good Day Art-kun.
