I haven't thoroughly explored it yet, but here's my first impression: the layout is very user friendly and is very intuitive for those who have used Photoshop or GIMP. Load times are reasonably fast. The program itself is still very limited, but it has a lot of potential. Since they aren't aiming to compete with "desktop software", I guess a lack of a few features is fine. I find Pheonix (the Image Editor) to be suitable and convenient which may make Aviary, as aforementioned by others, a very possible popular complementary suite. :) The primary objective of Aviary seems to be to make calloborative projects more convenient. So, a group should try out their system.
