I wrote this for the RPA but it started to turn into a story and it may fit better in the writing 101 area Id like to know what you think about it.
Free As The Wind
"I’ll be back soon mother" Leon said as he left his cabin for the third time today. Leon is a young man who grew up in a cabin on the edge of Greenguard forest while he is thin he’s strong for his size, he has bright blue eyes like the sky on a clear day, and dirty brown mid-length hair, his clothes are a basic brown farmers outfit with brown boots. His mother has been sick for several weeks now and Leon has had to continually pick up her medicine from Warlic's magic shop. Her illness is different from most; it requires a very specific type of medicine that has to be freshly brewed. So every day Leon makes four trips to the town of Battleon to get the medicine and bring it back home.
This trip is not an easy one since Leon lives on the outskirts of the forest near Swordheaven, but only the mage Warlic has the skill to brew this particular type of medicine. Leon runs through greenguard as he has done many times before. He knows that the doctors said that his mother would not last much longer and that the medicine could only slow her fate, but he didn’t care he wanted to help his mother no matter what the cost. It takes him about an hour to get to Battleon but he doesn’t mind, Leon loves to run when he’s running he feels free and if he could he would run forever.
He arives in town and heads for Warlics shop, walking through the streets of Battleon he notices the sights he’s always loved: The Warriors and Adventures walking the streets, the bustle of noise coming from Yulgar's Inn, the merchants selling their goods. Battleon is the central hub of LORE and many travelers, and merchants come here, they meet and talk about their adventures and their goals. Leon reaches Warlic's shop, but is bumped into by a young boy "Excuse me sir" the boy says, "Don't worry about it" Leon says as he regains his composure, he's got bigger things on his mind. The boy runs off and Leon opens the door to Warlic's shop. "Ah back again I see" Warlic says, "Yep and this won’t be the last time today as you know" Leon replies with a slight smile.
Warlic prepares to give him the medicine, which he has just finished brewing. "That will be 25 gold" Warlic says, Leon digs in his pockets for the gold, "what is this" Leon says, "Is there a problem" Warlic fixes Leon with a stare waiting for the gold. "No not really" Leon says "I’ll be right back" and he leaves the shop closing the door behind him. "That kid will pay for this" He says with clinched fist. It seems that the boy picked Leons pocket when he bumped into him. Leon knows that the boy cannot outrun him and begins to set off in the direction the boy ran.
To be continued if english 101, if RPA Ill leave it to the role players to continue it.
Edit: I made some changes to the wording to make the story slightly better.
*note: this is my first attempt at anything like this and I must say I enjoy it :)
