I've been waiting about 3 days to see if I've been accepted into the Debate Club. I was wondering how long it would normally take?
Do you get a PM, Or does it say "Approved" or "Not Approved"?

 The length of time it takes for someone to receive a notice regarding their status in the Debate club is determined by several things...
1) The amount of applications that must be addressed.
2) The availability of the Moderator in charge of applications.
3) The application itself.

Three days is not a long time to wait for a response. You need to have patience.

RsNail, just thought I'd add that it took a month for me to know whether or not I'd been accepted. You just have to patience and forget that you applied, that way you won't be waiting to find out, then you'll remember when you are told :)

Generally, we aim to have all applications processed within a fortnight of them being posted, however as we all have other responsibilities, in rare cases it might take up to a month. If you have not received a PM about your application within 2 weeks of it being processed, then do feel free to contact me via PM to point this out. You should receive a PM about the status of your application whether it is an acceptance or otherwise.

I'd also like to underline the instructions in the first post of the application thread; namely hitting the appropriate button on this list as soon as you have posted an application - this can reduce the time it takes for your application to be processed.

 I don't see your name in the pending section of the Club's page. That means that either you didn't follow the instructions regarding club application or your PM from Twig got lost in transit. Either way, if you have a question, you should politely PM Sir Gnome and ask him the status of your application.
