I find it difficult to keep track of the array of equipment out there. I sometimes find it difficult even to find an entry for an item I already know exists; for example, "Piotr's Head PTR 38" is listed under "PTR 38", and ctrl-f piotr doesn't get you there.

I feel a better tool to id equipment for builds would be very helpful. I often resort to just buying credit items to try them out and see as that is usually easiest. But the dearth of inventory slots makes that problematic.

Am I the only one? Thoughts?

edit: I think this ought to be reborn as an on-line database, and am considering taking on the task myself...

I'm wondering if there is enough interest from others in seeing a better tool that it would warrant my effort to create it.

@Leo, 5th subforum in the MQ forum. Labeled Encyclopedia.

Yes it is horribly clunky but the seems to be not resources available to reorganize it. If you need to search for something your best bet is to try the index for each equip type, or ask in the Q&A this being a more likely solution if the item is newer.
