Maybe its just me but I don't think that strength mercs should go first. I mean C'mon their 30 Support (Support increases first strike rate)
I just don't think its fair that they can have minimum support and still go first against 60+ support.
Thoughts?

who goes first already depends on builds (AKA support and luck)

Here's the deal,now this is my opinion,but i'm almost certain it's a fact.Iv'e had 80 support and numerous times a str bounty/merc would go first when they've got like 18 or 20+whatever they have,normally they have around 30-40 support.Now after the new update that allows lower lvls to go first most the time i think that's when i started noticing them going first a lot more often.

Titan has never verified how the game reads who goes first,my opinion is that the code is flawed and bases it's values wrongly.So that when someone's support is higher than a certain point compared to the opposing party,then the system automatically assumes that whoever has support THAT low must be lower lvl'd than the other person.

This causes those 18+whatever bounties to go first most the time,same can be observed for a str merc.Just my opinion but i think that's what's happening.

@deadly
the average BH has 30 support
with their str dex build
and most str mercs have 27 with cyber shillelagh.
still however ur chances of going first can only be increase by 10% if u have over 80 support on the other person.

Str mercs are easy to kill though...
Merc - Intimidate
Bh- Smoke
Mage - Shield
the chances of them stunning are low anyway...
Also to be succesfull they need like 2-3 seasonal rares from different seasons..

@gaga
exactly
people make a big deal about str merc as if they are OP.
if ur a BH the chance of hitting u are already low, then that chances of hitting u AND stunning are even lower.
we dont have smoke or malf to reduce ur defense
so we always have to muscle our way to victory.

I'd say they go first about 80% of the time against me, I'm so unlucky :/

I'm not too worried, since I tend to have enough defense/resistance to counter their massive attack rate.

And a little Intimidate wouldn't be too bad, even if it's just level 1 :P
