Do you ever choose weaker equipment over stronger simply for the looks?

I know my build would be more effective if I used the Space Warrior armor, but that clunky pile of steel looks so ugly to me I just use Desert Ronin, at the cost of 4 stat points.

I also know Celtic Fangs are overall more powerful and give me more attack options, but I just love the elegant feel of the Frostbane, so I use it instead.

Does anyone else know what I'm talking about?

power. thats exactly why i switch spending from AQW to ED. 70% of AQW is about looks, lol edited.

I am the opposite. I can't stand AQW and the buying matching outfits crap. I am not in the mood to play online fighting barbies. I do like how ED sells raw power. It's why I stay.

Don't get me wrong I am all about some nice looking weapons and armor. For instance, my favorite weapons here are the Rixty's, but they aint getting the job done they go in the backpack. I'm not getting smooshed because they match my shoes perfectly.....

Warbot armor is better for my build but i use Bunny Borg because it looks more good.

I totaly understand you... But i dont do it with weps because it will decrease my power much.

I'm switching to looks since I not only save BP but I can look good and original but I'll probably be 5% less effective in the skills department. A worthy price to pay.

I've said this many times, idc about how it looks aslong as it does its job. For example, I dont understand why everyone hated on Banana suit, it had/has the best support in the game, and used with the right build it owns.



Not to mention you can make any armor look cool with the right colors.

Sometimes... I mean , Beta Blaster looks aweful, but it's great for tank builds D:

Let's be honest we would all be wearing toilet bowl armor if it was +10 res and 9 Enhancment slots.

i prefer power most because this is a PVP game afterall it doesn't matter what i look like with the weapons, but i care about how my armor matches my hairstyle

Power.

A weapon might look great, but it's not great until its own power is great.

i choose looks over power, you can tell from my beast roborn claws, but i still go with power if its ok looking.

I agree! Thats why I choose to use the Frostbite claws so I can cut you open to see what this beautiful thing inside you is!

Mostly power, although I do get a bit frustrated if my armour, primary and aux are completely different colours; I never care about my sidearm matching.

I will actually conform myself around my weps to look pretty awsome, you'd be surpriesed what a little grey in your armor will do to make ur weps look like they have a better synergy

Power.
Looks aren't that important.
All the weapons look great, and if you think they look ugly, then that's good for you.

My weps are kringle bot staff, beta blaster, founder armor, energy eggzooka. I almost never use beta blaster. 113 stats FTW. (Max is 114). And I still look great.

I'm not sure this is the best answer but which do you think looks cooler? A well matched player lying on the ground or the other player doing a flip and collecting the battle token??

By default, i always use stronger items over good looking.. but if i got a chance to make good use of my good look items, i use them right away.

Definately looks.

and I do the same as Nebula, match my colours to my primary and aux [unless its the new Eggzooka]
