Note: I own an assault bot

I've been thinking. Right now there are only 2 ways to get an assault bot:

A) Buy it for 10,625 credits and 1,250 varium.
B) Win it the arcade

I think that there should be another way to get an assault bot, which is by buying it for 22,050 credits. This way non-variums can actually have a reliable way to get an assault bot and don't have to do arcade for a small chance to win it. What do you think? Should there be a reliable way to get an assault bot without varium?

1000% supported.To get a assault bot it should cost 20k credits.

I love it, but the price is too low, i'm a non varium and i think thant the price should be at minimum 30k.It's alot but you ARE one of the only 2 bots in the game.

 I agree that you should be able to buy a non-varium robot, but its price should be much higher than 22,050 credits because some hoverbikes cost 30,000 credits and they serve no purpose other than providing a faster way of transportation. If they were to release the assault bot as purchasable, I would say it should be around 45,000 to 50,000 so it's a higher price than the the 30k hoverbikes and varium players won't complain as much about it.

30k seems an awful lot, I'm almost to lv.27 and the sum total of EVERYTHING I have bought+the credits I currently have is around 30K.

Although, 30K is a lot, but its not IMO too overpriced as the assault bot:

A)Has no requirements
B)Improves with tech (Good for techmages)
C) Can debuff debuffs (This is a good counter against Str bounties and malfunction mages)
D) Has an incredibly high damage at +5 focus (51-56 at minimum [unless debuffed])
E) Its one of the only 2 robots in game
F)It provides an additional form of attack to players (An energy attack)


@Whitetiger: 45K to 50K seems impossible to me, I would grow bored saving up all the credit! I have used the assault bot a lot ever since I got it and I admit it is a powerful tool in battle but never has it crossed my mind an assault bot would be worth 50K.

 IMO, 30k is far too little; because then noone would buy the varium one.

 This would be unfair to those who spent $10 on the bot.
I'm pretty sure there will be non-varium robots in the future.
All we can do now is wait.

 @Cyberbeast10 Actually, 45-50k credits isn't impossible. It's actually quite easy. I only say that much because there are plenty of hoverbikes that cost much more than your suggested price and the assault bot is much more useful than a hoverbike since it can be used to your advantage in battles. And considering it's a varium item and the jackpot for the arcade, I would assume it'd be worth alot of credits. Also, my suggested price wasn't meant for lower levels, it was meant for level 32s since most of them have around or over 30-50k credits.

When something like this is ever suggested, there's always one main problem; varium players whining for a refund. Because of that, this idea has a 0% chance of happening.
I, personally, wouldn't mind the Assault Bot going non-varium. I don't have it, but if I did I honestly wouldn't mind. The Gamma Bot is much more effective for 5 focus builds, the Assault Bot is only really good for Str Builds or Support Mercs.

No one told me. I know this from experience. Every 5 focus build I have faced, those with the Assault Bot have never done nearly as well as those with the Gamma Bot, mages especially.

Maybe if the special was removes 65% of debuff ,then a new , nerfed assault bot should be offered for credits only Or simply a brand new robot . Cos the ED team promised you guys , non-variums , robots . Houses too ......

fight with my sis and you will see what a assault bot can do to you if you dont know ask xxmirxx. isnt that buddy. you have seen her build and have fought her many times

Well be thankful that they put assault bot on the arcade. I won mine in the arcade and I didn't expect it

No. its already in the arcade its not advisable to make it into creds
