if you have Varium to burn and you are a farmer not a fighter

1) i can see why you have varium to burn
2) Brainwash gives you that old farm 24/7 feel from beta

I Have Brainwashed. 165 Varium For One Use.

Simply Resets The Npcs For That Hour, Allowing You To Fight Them Again. 15 + 15 = 30 (Rinse & Repeat)

A Farmer's Delight! lol

Not Very Necessary.

I Do Not Reccommend Using It.

I have and I will tell you it was so worth it.

The question of whether or not it's worth doing depends on what level you are and who you intend on facing and when you face them.
The optimal scenario is where you are several levels lower then your opponent NPCs, its during the Hour of Power and you are on an XP booster. That's quadruple the XP for those who are not aware.

What does a level 30 get for defeating Admin 12 or The Lawman? How much for a level 31? It's not easy but if you can do it 45 times in an hour what's that worth? LOL Priceless!

Consider the hundreds of XP points you get per match and then times that by a potential 45 matches which is about as many as I could get done in one hour.
The conditions were just right, the timing was just right and the cost was so worth it. Otherwise its a huge waste of varium.

But consider that XP boost cost 95 varium and Brainwashing cost 165 then doing 45 NPC's in one hour during the Power Hour costs 425 varium. To put that in perspective its only a few bucks but it saves you hours of grinding and as an aside its less then half the cost of one Charfade's Blaster.

If you time it just right... lets say

lv 32 v lawman and admin 12

Thats 22xp per fight.

x2 from power hour

x2 from xp boost

so 22*4 = 88

(xp boost but only 1 npc) 88*5 = 440
(xp boost but with both npc) 88*10 = 880
(xp boost with brainwash and both) 88*30 = 2640! (EDIT.. oops 88*20 = 1760)

As for credits.

Normal = 64*10 = 640
Powerhour = 64*10*2 = 1280
BW + PW= 64* 20*2 = 2560!

So thats

1760 xp
2560 credits

In one hour.

ONLY from the 2 lv 33s

Yeah, Listen To Sparticus. Use Brainwash. Use Xp Booster. During Power Hour. You Will Get Alot Of Xp In Short Amount Of Time.

Buy Some Batte Boost Whlie Your At It Too! It's Only Money After All.

Or You Can Do Some Npcs. Come Back Later, Do Some More. Take Your Time. Enjoy. Patience Is An Amazing Virtue To Obtain.

It's All About Choice People.

To each their own. Some players are helpful and some are obviously trolls. I agree its all about choice.

Inconceivable!

I've used it once just to test out the feature, but it's not something I plan on using on a regular basis.

As Charfade said before, it really is a luxury feature. You can easily get by without it and the boost is pretty small that the advantage isn't anything game breaking. You can still maintain a lead in the daily 1v1 competition without using it... in fact I personally don't find NPCs much faster than player battles. It's just a nice percentage booster.

Also, keep in mind that we often introduce experimental features as a premium feature before introducing it to the game at large. Because we WANT feedback like this!

LOL

I'm Sorry...This Is Getting Ridiculous. The Damage Control Being Done In This Forum To Protect The Truth From Being Said.

And To Calm The Masses Into A Silent Stupor.

"we often introduce experimental features as a premium feature before introducing it to the game at large"

You Mean Like War Kills? Did They Lower The Price On That Feature?

Or Maybe Battle Boost For 2X The Tokens For Credits Only?

Please Give Me An Example Of A "Premium" Feature That Was Used And Is Now Given To The Game At Large For Free Or Reduced Price?

PLZ. Just One.

Not to go along with the hijack of this thread but I also was thankful for the removal of the 20 token cost for challenge NPC's, that was a real drain, perhaps not in varium but in time and effort.

@Cindy

Item Enhancements Are Not An "Optional", "Premium" Feature Such As Brainwash. It Is Almost A Necessity To Compete.

To Battle Without Your Gun And Aux Enhanced Now, Leaves You At Quite A Disadvantage Even Vs Npcs Now...Since They Did The Stat Adjustment Thing (hmmm...).

@One Winged

LOL

Eggzookas Are 2200 Varium For One. And Are Fully Enhancable.

Are You Saying That Costs...Less? No.

The Item Enhancements Were Reduced Because Most Of Epicduel Screamed Bloody Murder When Gun/Zooka Enhancement Was Introduced, So Soon After Stat Nerfing.

And That Was Credit Only To My Knwoledge. Not Varium Reduced. Which Is The Real Life Money Thing.

Pay To Gain Back What You Just Lost!

Items Are More Expensive Now Then Ever, Promo And Seasonal Rares Because They Are All Enhancable Now.

The Base Varium Price For Most of These Items Has Not Been Lowered And Now There Are A Bunch of Slots To Enhance.

On Topic:

The Brainwash Feature Is Yet Another "Premium" Feature That Costs Varium. That Is All.

Every Week Now It Seems, There Are More And More Ways To Spend Varium...Yet, The "Majority" Of Players Are Not Happy With The Game.

I Wonder Why?

@Buffy- enhancements don't necessarily cost varium- you asked for one example of a varium only feature that was introduced to the game at large. There's also a house and a robot that can be won at the arcade.

I haven't enhanced my sidearms or auxiliary weapons.

Also, introducing increased enhancements without diminishing returns on stats would only serve to widen the gap between players.

You don't need to use the brainwash feature- it helps during power hour, but it's not a necessity. It's a luxury, experimental feature, and according to the feedback on this thread a useless one. So, why are you so adamant about arguing with me about it? :3

@ Cindy

I Agree Brainwash Is A Completely Optional Feature (Which Happens To Cost Varium) And Is Entirely Up To The Individual Player To Use Or Not Use.

Like Battle Boost And XP Boost.

Gun/Aux Enhancement Is A Completely Different Topic And Does Not Belong In This Thread.

It Was Your Use Of The Phrase "experimental features as a premium feature" That Set Me Off. Because...

There Are So Many Things Players Have Been Asking For Months. I Didn't Know Doing More Npcs Per Hour Was At The Top Of The Priority List.

I Do Not Mind The Feature Personally, Honestly. I Just Doubt That "Most" Players Will Be Using It Often.

We Shall See.

What Irks Me Is, There Are Many Things That Go Undone And Are Not Listened To By Admins...For Example...The Chronic Complaints Of 2vs2 Balance, Which Have Been In The Forums Since The Start Of Beta.

Several Threads Are Currently Posted With Screenshots Etc...About Problems With The Battle System.

Many Players Would Rather The Devs Time Is Spent On Meaningful Things That Affect Everyone's Enjoyment Of The Game.

Wow a total hijack of a thread. Call the cops.

The implementation of diminishing returns had to be introduced before further enhancements were introduced, it would cause a huge imbalance if if wasn't. This isn't a money grab, it's a game feature that was always planned. Enhancements for all items were on the table since the introduction of primary enhancements. That was no secret and lots of players begged for it.

As for things not getting done, I beg to differ. So many things are getting added to this game its silly. Players have been asking for missions/quests for years. If I'm not mistaken, long before 2v2 balance was a concern. I personally asked for them before the run button was removed so that tells you how long ago it was.

To the OP, if you don't like the feature, don't use it. If you want to say something not aimed at the OP then make a post about it rather then hijack someone else's thread.

Sparticus, Your Multiple Accusations Of Thread Hijacking Are In Fact You Mini Modding To The Best Of My Knowledge.

Cinderella Is A Very Capable Person, Who Has Been Very Involved In This Thread.

If She Saw/Thought Anyone Was Doing Anything Wrong, I'm Sure She Would Have Said So Or Done Something About It.

But I Suppose You Think You Know Better. But You Telling The Mods (Cops) What To Do Is Fine Somehow?

As For The Missions/Quests... Players Are Complaining About The Content Of Those Missions And The Lack Of Purpose Or Reason Behind Them.

Which Is Currently Being Voiced In The Missions Or PvP Thread.

As For Brainwash, In This Thread Alone, The Clear Majority Are Against It.

Your Opinion Does Not Agree With The Majority In The Forum Regarding This Subject So Far.

You've Made Your Opinion Clear About It. Why Do You Continue To Troll?

Last I Checked The Last Few Posts In This Thread Were Between Cinderella, One Winged Angel And Myself. No One Was Specifically Speaking To You.

Allow Others To Chime In. Let The Public Speak Their View And Stop Making Yours Out To Be Some Sort Of Authority On It.

Because It Isn't.
