There have been suspiciously few comments from Charfade, Cinderella, Titan, NW, or any mod recently (since the update went live).

Maybe they're in a meeting discussing how they messed up this release?

What do YOU think they are doing?

I'd say they are all taking money baths. After this last release they gonna be rich, while all of ED's players are scrubbing bath tubs to try and keep up with the growing varium costs.

Greedy, selfish, and downright wrong. And they wonder why we flame. Its because they NEVER EVER listen and continue releasing money based updates like this weeks, last weeks, the one before that, and before that, and...yeah you get it.

Cinderella, what are you doing? I thought you were supposed to help, but instead your an excuse dispenser. You think making entire items ONLY available in a promo is going to make people happy? You think 1600 rating point, and a used inventory slot is worth my 1200 Varium? Huh? where are you?

"Sorry I'm trying to get NW and Titan out of their golden bath tubs!"

There she goes with the excuses again.

Well they do read over every single post. Remember AVA, he found every single last thing. I bet Cinderella does that too. Seriously guys...STOP IT.

Well we are having a ED war, sorta like the Cysero thing in DF.

Well aqw has a great release tonight, in fact they always have a good release. I am having a great time 1v1ing against upgraded and non-upgraded players alike. Fun for everyone. Makes me want to go buy some more AC's. Maybe I will, but I don't think I want to support AE knowing they oversee EpicDuel as well.

or perhaps after working all day we would like to be home with our family's... to much to ask... I guess so.

Yeah, I agree. Spending time with you're family is more important, but it doesn't take long for someone on the ED team to make a post.

Spending 30 minutes to an hour posting on the forums/communicating with the players will go along way.
We have problems with the releases, but you guys just expect us to get along with it. None of you take us seriously.
Yet all that is happening is 1 thing, money.

Edit: I think most players would be happy to spend money, if it was worth it. But after beta everything is just going down hill.
We complain every week about it, yet every week is varium base & it's not cheap.

Please stop the blame game with our EpicDuel staff. Apparently its not their fault as they do not set the pricing on this game. However, I do think our ED staff should sit down with Artix and discuss the fact that EpicDuel players are not happy with the continually high cost of playing a game that is still in a test phase. Actually test phase or not this game is just far too expensive to play to be a top competitor.

I find this thread extremely disrespectful. A perfect example of why there is a lack of communication towards the progress of the game.
You are all too occupied making threads depicting the developers as greedy and heartless and yet complain of why you aren't being heard.

You are not being heard because you never give a constructive post!
Certain players just roam around the forums and cause flames without any supporting details as to why they are upset.

Just a tip, stop ranting and start giving constructive posts.

You want to know what I think they're doing? Worrying and upset over players that weekly flame them. Because I would certainly be!

Lambo, unlike you this is our job, we need to break away from time to time to see family and let them know that we actually still do exist from time to time.

and also we were on 30mins to an hour after the release today, I've been answering questions all night on the forums and though PM's. Titan and Night were not on because there were some bugs and server side issues that needed to be addressed. I'm sorry they could not be on for you if you were expecting them to get on. They have had to delegate tasks to other members of the staff team such as Wise and Cindy to be here for the players when they can not. Again sorry if we are still not meeting your expectations.

Edit: I edited spelling... though I'm still sure there are some lingering... its late... I'm a horrible speller T_T

Charfade and ED staff please don't take some of these insults personally. Some of these players do not know how to make a valid complaint and or are ill informed as to who sets out the pricing on this game.

I do not like seeing the staff set upon in such a manner it upsets me as well.

This is an ugly mob but I think it is high time that Artix himself addresses our issues.

Guys, Charfades not lieing. 8 minutes after the release there was a bug where if you purchased a $50 package you would not get the energy gun in the package. You would then have to contact Titan and or Nightwraith to get it added to your account. There was a fair amount of people who needed help, so calling Char a liar without back up is a no-no. Including me and some friends, we had to contact Titan a few times.

Celestine. We've made so many 'constructive posts' asking the ED Team to be more involved with the community.
Yet it still doesn't happen. We've asked them to stop making over-priced varium stuff & give the non-varium players a buff.
This still hasn't happened. We keep repeating ourselfs to the ED Team, which they reply with 'We are listening, we read all the post'
Yet if they did things will get done, which it hasn't. We keep going around in circles, for them to listen to us, yet they don't. Now we've had enough we've switched from being nice to nasty, to get through to the ED team. This still doesn't work, now tell me what else to you expect us to do?

We've trying everything to make them listen. They just... at the end of the day they just don't care.
We spend alot of money in this game, we worked hard in-game also. People expect us to still be nice to them when they show us no repsect? Ain't gonna happen anymore, TILL THEY LISTEN, instead of just posting their listening...


@Charfade, this job over mine I would take anyday. I'm on my feet from 11AM till around 10PM. I have to travel monday to friday getting 3 trains each day, yet when I come home I'm half dead. I still have time to be around my family & post on the forums.
I just don't see how you guys can't be more involved with the community, honestly.

I think its high time the community stops accusing the devs of greed and lambasting them for whatever they do. You can't expect them to be at your beck and call all the time. Seriously, what do you hope to achieve for heaping scorn on the devs? An EpicDuel improvement? Don't the devs have working hours too? Or do you expect them to be here 24/7, only to bear the brunt of your accusations? Its time to stop this. The undeniable fact is that you chose to buy the Gold Skull card or any 'overpriced' items.

If you should say that you must pay to win, then obviously you are just giving up on strategy and letting money replace it. There are non-varium players who have extraordinary skill that challenge even the most up-to-date of varium players. If you think your gear is good enough, don't buy more. As simple as that. You are not forced to do anything; your unrealistic expectations and speculations cause you to make mistakes. Is it reasonable for you to put the blame on the devs?

Can you show me an example of a constructive post? And then tell me if that post is surrounded by a sea of flaming. Is it any wonder that the devs are put off by the flaming, to the point that the post (if it exists) is inevitably slighted?

Are you sure you would like Charfade's job? It's one that no matter how well you do, you don't even get a simple 'Good job' or 'Thank you'. Instead, no matter what you do, you still get flamed and trolled. All your hard work gets thrown down the bin. Just because that is your working style doesn't mean everyone should adopt it. As Charfade had already said, they had addressed the community 30min-1hr after the update had gone live. What do you expect of them; to stay up all night to address the concerns (which are likely to be similar anyway) of the players in every single time zone? You are also making an assumption that Charfade's job is easier than yours.

To whomever might read this,

Many of us have had very constructive posts which have been supported by many members of the community, and these posts have taken a lot of our time and have been going on for more then a year now. Its called the suggestions thread actually :) You can go there and see all the ideas the community has ever had. Even in the general discussion, every single day I try to post a constructive thread. Other players do so as well. However for just under a year now the developers have been completely detached from the community, and solely focused on making money. Barely any of the players suggestions and constructive feedback have been implemented. You can tell me "well, it takes time" but they have had ALL of Gamma to do something constructive that the players want, and they have failed to do so. I for one am completely fed up, and have lost all of the trust I ever had in the developers. They DO NOT listen no matter how we say it, and that aggravates many of us and is the source of many of the so called "flaming posts." Until something is done, this will not change. Until the developers change their profit based scam, I will continue to write things like I have just written. I invested in something great, something worth while, and I have the right to FIGHT for the great game we once had and the bright future which ran before it, and I won't stop until I either get a full refund, or this game once again becomes something player driven rather then profit driven.

Remember Titan, NW, and the ED team, when the players are satisfied, you will have the greatest profit of all. Pride.
And Remember Titan, NW, and the ED team, when the players are satisfied, you will see the greatest reward of all. Profit.

I don't think the EpicDuel team is doing too badly. No, they aren't as involved in the forums as the DF or AQW teams, but ED is a newer game; there are many more things to be fixed. As for Varium prices, I'm a non-varium player (even though I could buy some if I was able to un-link my ED duel acc from my master one and re-link the correct acc), and yes, there are many over-priced items, but this game is still in development. Instead of telling the staff that everything is wrong and they're doing terrible, let's give them constructive criticism. It is very difficult to solve a problem when you have on idea exactly what the players want. Let's give the team a break, they work hard. So what if they make excuses often? They have an entire game to run and build, and everyone is pressuring them to be faster. Relax, players! Give the team a chance.

Re-read what you've posted. It's like you think I don't support this game. I do, I've payed alot for this game. I've shown you support but you haven't shown me any. My expectations are for you to be more involved with the community, is it really that hard?...

You Dev's might find my post offensive, but that's because you are just not listening.
I'm a paying customer, yet you intend to just ignore. I've tried my best to keep calm, but this has gone on too far.

My on going support was less than 2 weeks ago when I brought a 10k varium package.

@Silver, this is the internet, trying dealing it in real life when you've been working at a new place for nearly 2 months, yet I've been reported 3 times to my boss. I don't get no thanks or no appeication for my job, I just get it done.
