I think overall the balance between clases are fine atm. all classes have builds which can deafet one another which makes it balanced in my opinion. However having said that varitey of builds between classes are small, especially for mages but it dosnt make them easier to defeat. In order to bring people variety buffing bad skills is required but no more nerfing!!!. So no more posts about classes being op but i will agree if someone says classes are restricted.

I personally think its all just a matter of "Don't blame the equipment, Blame the user." I too believe all classes are balanced, It just depends how well you can use your class that matters.

^ I agree , and the main reason why i want more variety in builds is because some of the most powerful builds atm. are no brainers, (means u dont need much skill) ad i'd like to see people who deserve high win % to get them rather than those with the best equipment.

The main problem with this game is that someone makes a dominant build and the rest of the universe copies it, that's where we get into all of the "balance" arguments. The game is perfectly fine as it is. If it weren't for players like that we'd have no problems whatsoever.

^ there will always be player who jump to the strongest build,i think they should implant a 1 month or less time limit on class changing unless it's back to orignal class.

No, the Balance is NOT fine.

We've still got un-equal Stat values, We've Still got giant Stat inflation gaps, and the Skill values still aren't equal.

You may think it's balanced, but until the above three things actually get addressed, there will always be balance problems.

No, they're not even reasonably equal either. In fact, I'd like to see your numbers supporting that. Give me numbers & tables of all stat values, skill values, and the natural curve of stat point growth correlated with level first, as well as dynamic situations. THEN I will support your rational.

Of course this is not AQ, but the point still stands - Use numbers to back up your claims first.

I agree with PD.

mercs work 100%, every skill has a viable build, which cant be said for mages and hunters.

mages and hunters have multiple skills that do not work at high levels well enough to justify using them. plasma rain and multi are appalling abilities, and
the argument that malfunction can increase their potency is a bit weak IMO. especially considering smoke screen increases the damage of artillery strike.

then theirs support. the stat that does benefit all classes, but easily benefits mercs the most. you just dont see hunters or mages with that amount of support
and thats because they have to actually consider their defences. my most effective support build for mages has less than 100 support. i regularly see mercs
with 120+, the majority fight the same way cause its effective in both 1v1,2v2 and now juggernaut. how can classes possibly be balanced when support mercs
outnumber all the other class/build combinations combined in 2v2.

then theirs tech and gamma bots. another OP build that....wait for it....mercs benefit from the most. bunker buster takes a giant *&£# on plasma bolt with
high tech, bounty hunters dont even have any offensive abilities that scale with tech, except for smoke screen.

its MORE balanced than it used to be but still along way from being truely balanced [arguably impossible]

Many have issues with 5 focus, but I feel as the level cap increases, 5 focus builds will tend to be not as powerful unless the game adds 6 focus.

My other issue is with Shadow Arts. The skill is fantastic, so fantastic it can be used to create various 5 focus builds around. The best is support based when Blood Lust, Blocks, Crits, Stuns, Deflections, Bot Power favor BHS.

The other new tier skills don't have that variety of options w/o a major sacrifice.

There are other concerns, but this is all I wish to add to this topic. Mages can compete, but as a class, they must work very hard compared to the other 2.

nerfing is not the answer, get rid of enhancements already /)_- everyone is limited to builds, not just mages and mages are my worst enemy right now :/

I agree with PD this game is NOT balanced not even close. Show some proof supporting how this game is equally balanced. We have so many issues. Stat Inflation,Skill Adv/Disadv and many more.

^Ajs777 I love enhancements the majority of us do who wants to be weaker also its not even possible. They would have to refund everyone with every credit,varuim and give them a free retrain. Do you really think the devs are gonna do that? Dont think so.

I would scrap the balance thing and put things like they were AND keep the enhancements on everything.

Let people have crazy builts, get creative and be truely free.

It's just a game, have fun kids

@PD wouldn't equalizing stat values give non-effective players and edge that only experienced players should have. I mean if everything was equal then there would be no"better" build stat wise.

@Edward: That's a terrible misconception. The Build's power lies not only in the equipment and stats, but also how it's used. The better person would win through strategy

Also, give me the numbers to support that (as in yours) claim first.

Balance is not fine, since stats are not balanced.

Skill are not balanced.

OMG, can u guys read , yes the skills and stats are not balances but for some strange reason classes are evenat 1v1. THAT is what im trying to say and here is my proof. Solo 1v1 leaders daily, top % for each class, Deathkinghtmare (mage) 98%, Fay beee (BH) 98%, alot of mercs aprox 98%, so all classes ahve the abilaty to get aprox 98% which means they are balanced between classes in 1v1, but like u said skills etc are not blanced but i also metioned this in my orignal post.

If you take away the luck factor of each and every battle then yes balance is fine. It's really hard to see that considering a level 20 can beat a level 33 with full varium if he blocks deflects and has the correct build for the enemy.
