I just got in a fight with a bounty with betas. He has 23 support and i have 72 support. First he DEFLECTS my aux for 18 dmg. Then he smokes and i reflex. He uses his max stun grenade, landing 15 damage and STUNS me. Then he rage CRITS me to kill. I really wonder if luck is rly based on stats or if it is just random...

 If he had shadow arts on then he get deflection. You should read skill and stop pay attention to luck. just worry about your match. I stop worry about luck and started focusing about my skills.

Shadow Arts no longer increases your chance to deflect. It has been that way for a pretty long time.

@mirv shadow arts doesnt affect deflection anymore at ALL. and how can i pay attention to my skills if im stunned and dead?

 I would make built that would counter his built. 5 focus are best for that I would just put enhancements on tech and dex and make your shadow arts at lvl 10 and your blood lust at 10 and massacre at 1 and your energy shield 6 and your smoke at 5 rest on healing.

now u dont know that.
the skill could say it doesn't but then it could.
the system may be bugged without anyone knowing.

Was just annoyed VERY VERY badly.

Vsing a support merc with a 10 support advantage over me

Me 50HP 17EP left for heal
Him 10HP No energy left.

He pulls out his stun gun (the energy one)

31 damage critical stun, he aux


me dead X.X

Luck is soon going to overtake skill & build

Maybe...but that means theres a chance that the smaller amount of support you have the higher the chance of deflecting/criting/stunning.

It's very annoying seriously. A guy with a scattered build defeated me even if I smoke him and I rage then he only defeated me with 2 crits and a block. Since this game is about luck, I am going to quit if they don't fix this problem.

Its just the RNG (Random Number Generator) messin around. We all have those days, but don't worry it will be better tomorrow :D

Just take a break and come back fresh and relaxed.

I think it's annoying how a str merc with like 30 support goes first 98% of the time when i have 75 support as a TM.

 ^I went first against a support mercenary, and critted him and deflected him, and then I blocked him too :D.

For all we know, Titan and Nightwraith could be making all of these numbers up and deceiving us from the start. Haven't you all noticed luck has been this bad since the beginning of this game? It never chanced no matter how much Titan lowered the chance of getting a crit.

 I have no issues with the discussion of this topic, but this thread has no premise as it is centered upon a singular instance not to mention the absence of any sort of evidence to back-up said claim. If someone wants to track this over the course of numerous battles or has a legitimate method of arguing that luck is indeed unbalanced, feel free to revive this topic. Otherwise, there is nothing to discuss, I'm afraid.
