 This thread will serve as the OOC for the Sky Arena.

The entrants in the Sky Arena are listed below.

Jonathan Longhair - demonhunter - Energy
Inaless of the Silver Valley - TormentedDragon - Light

Salina Goodchild - Mirai - Wind

Nia of the Masai Tribe - Clyde - Darkness
G'thrax "Grax" Tideseeker - Micosil - Water

It's going to be slick up there, have fun with that.

Wow, sky, huh? This'll be my first EC in Sky. This makes all of the arenas except for Fountain. I'm more than a bit tired and a little bit out of sorts due to a very convivial evening, so I likely won't have a post till sometime later today.

Jonathan is in the arena and he is not happy.

I didn't do so well last time I entered the Sky arena. Hopefully I do better this time.

Only one I've never competed in is Spike.

 Whereas in my case, the only arena I've ever competed in is Spike...

Salina's in the arena, nearer Inaless than Jonathan, and starting to walk towards Inaless- she hasn't got far yet, not having had to jump between rocks so far. Although, just to check- Kel- I've assumed the arena has the same dimensions as in previous years: i.e. 50 foot radius of concentric circles of rocks rotating at different speeds with gaps of various sizes in between, and a hole with 10 foot radius in the centre. Is that about right?

Man do we have a motley crew of people in this arena. And for some reason it seems like everyones bloodthirsty. I cant wait for things to heat up! Oh and just for reference, Cales body looks similar to how Dr. Dooms is in the Fantastic Four. His body, aka the container, hold his "true body" which is basically a giant cloud of sand/dirt/rocks/etc. Hopefully it will clear up anything that has been said in the post that doesnt make sense.

EDIT: I also just noticed, but we have exactly one entrant from each element in this arena. That's quite interesting. It's like the finals, only much, much higher above the ground.

All well and good of you to target a character off in the distance, Micosil, but you may want to give some kind of indication as to which character that would be. A description, for example. Or, at very least, an OOC comment here to let us know who he's targeting.

N3344, that's you Grax is aiming at. You don't seem to be armed in any possible way, which is why he's picked you as a target :P

Edit: TDK, you might want to give me /some/ credit :P I was simply checking that the post was fine.

Right back at you TD! Salina's itching dust is caught up in the wind-blast, so there's sort of two parts to this attack- dust and wind.
Unfortunately, I suspect Salina's attack is likely to backfire on her, as Cale may be grumpy to see his 'children' sent flying out into space. Still, Grax may keep him occupied...

TDK- I took the liberty of Salina sort of recognising your character, on the basis he was a famous food critic, and in her former position, she'd have once received a reasonable amount of world 'intelligence.' She won't know anything of him except that he's a food critic though. Hope this is acceptable.

Mirai, that's just fine by me. I've no problem with people recognizing my character, provided they would have a reason to be familiar with him. After all, how many people know famous food critics, except for people in the food industry? However, since I don't know your character's real background, I'm happy to say she may have heard of him.

no no no, Goldstein, that's not how you get things done in the EC. Don't ask people to attack you... go find someone who is open/unoccupied/preoccupied and attack them.

Micosil: Your character hasnt attacked Cale correct? Hes just charging? Ive read your post a couple of times and I just want to make sure hes aimed at Cale instead of launching something at him.

This floating dust is definitely going to create a problem with Cale. I feel, and pray that it wont be, a three on one kind of thing. Hes definitely going to attack Grax and Salina, just not sure how to pull it off... Post will be there tomorrow!

Well, that perfectly fits ol' Doc, he means well, but is often crass in his ways. Also, he's not exactly the offensive type, but I suppose I'll initiate a fight.

Actually, TDK, he prefers people not make cracks about his height. He may be short compared to most sentients, but he stands at the maximum known height for a Jakkai.

EDIT: Hmm... Doc is to the north... Cale is Northeast... Whereabouts is everyone else situated, in terms of starting point? I want to get an idea of how the combatants are currently positioned.

Well, East, North and Northeast starting points are taken by Jonathan, Doc and Cale, respectively...

At a guess, I'd say TD started at either south or southeast, with Mirai being either southwest or south, respectively, basing on observations... Could be wrong, but based on Mirai's character's observation of positions, those two setups seem most likely.
