ok idk if u guys knew this or not.
but back in in the day when a faction would put double the effort into winning 2X the ammount of wins by second place, the first place faction would get a double win (as it is deserved)
for example
1 vs 1 boards
1st: 4000 wins
2nd 1500 wins

because 1st place got more than doubled the wins of 2nd place back then they would get 2 medals for winning. (again its deserved for putting so much effort)
but a while back they changed it so that no matter how many times u out do the 2nd place, u only get 1 win.
IMO thats not fair.
1) faction competition isn't the same anymore.
2) if a faction puts alot of effort into winning and getting double the wins, they well deserve it.
3) faction should be rewarded more for being competitive

my faction right now Control Alt Death almost doubles what 2nd place does every time we're first.
but we only get 1 medal.

so do u think factions who put more effort than others be rewarded more?
maybe this will make other factions be more competitive like before.
give me your thoughts.
and keep in mind this also goes for 2 vs 2 and WD.

Well, factions that get double more wins from the 2nd place should get two medals, that would increase the competition on daily, factions will all be trying to get those 2 medals, and that would make the faction's war more competitve.Totally supported.

    		Lol our faction is level 11 and doesn't have a single 1v1 or 2v2 medal so............I don't care :)

    		You guys at Control Alt Death could also take it easy once in a while, instead of ALWAYS having to win.


    P.S. We understand that YOU have no life. But some people have a job and/or a girlfriend or something else to do.
    Control Alt Death consists of those with none of the above.

    		 This thread is weird, for instance your only saying this because it benefits you. You just want faster and easier medals for yourself. What about the factions that did this idea in the past?


    Also your faction chooses to get double the wins for the fun of it so it's your fault for going the extra mile.

    		 Excellent idea! It will surely benefit all factions, and the game, and the devs. They would make more money since factions want to get more wins, members buy Varium, and devs make money. Its a win-win. Sadly Eternal Paradise is mostly inactive.

    		I've been playing ED since Beta and there was never a time when double medals where given. The only time that happened was because of a bug, and it's been fixed. Besides, it's far more healthy, and conservative to stop when you know you've won, that way when the next day comes, everyone is fresh and ready to go without overworking yourselves.

    In short, this was a bug and there was never a time when multiple medals where given on purpose.

    		Off topic: i have never seen a faction win 2v2 and 1v1 medal at the same day it would be cool to see that.

    On topic: well Imo if a faction knows they can win for that day they should stop as it is kinda pointless unless they want to beat dsx's record for the most 1v1 in 1 day or kotr's most number of 2v2 in 1 day. keep in mind if u know u r gonna win why waste your energy trying to get more wins when u can use the energy to do something better or use the energy for tmr or some other day.

    i can understand it was a bug, but i think it would be nice if doubles could actualy be purposely given for getting extra.
    this would reward faction with more. and it will make more competition.
    like if we are 1st second place will try to get more wins so that we dont get doubles and such.

    well i do get what u mean. but since we dont know what other faction is going to go for it we like to just wing it from the start and be safe. unless we're taking a break.

    but so far we won 20+ medals in our 1st month and we would like to keep going without others interfering

    		@Feral Ninja : Hey Mr Clever , If you're saying this i'm sry to tell you everyone in CAD has life it's not wrong if we play everyday and if we won it everyday everyone has a life and if you don't believe that's your problem . + remember CAD has all the best players well not all but 80% best players.

  • we won 20/31 daily but we did take a week break so we could have won more . ( 1 week for life hahahaha )

    		also some people seem to forget when we do high difference from 2nd place. its a guaranteed win
    so thats when we rest ;)

    I spoke the truth, CAD consists out of the most active players (Mostly) in the entire game, let's say each member has to get 300 wins a day, and each 1v1 round took 1 minute.
    that means 300 minutes (AKA 5 hours.)

    Now, I don't know about you, but spending 5 hours a day on a game is a bit extreme.

    Y'know, I have better things to do than that, like: work, girlfriend, hanging out with my non-offline friends.

    i guess u aren't reading the past faction topic about how faction competition is horrible and there are hardly any factions that tried to get the medal that day.
    if only 1 faction wants to try then that doesn't make it a no life fac.
    winning the dailies is a group effort.
    (and btw id like to see u get 300 in 5 hours)
    our requirement isn't 300+. its 200+ on 1 vs 1 days. 200 is only about 4-5 hours.
    and it summer everyone spend their 4-5 hours time on something. just because we do it on a game doesn't make us no life.

    		Faction competition is terrible because there are barely any players left that are in a faction that play as much as super active players (CAD style).
    That's why most active players go into 1 faction. To pwn everyone else.

    If only 1 Faction CAN win because they play too much, what incentive is there for other factions to try beating that?


    It's true that if a faction does in fact play for 10 hours straight or whatever it doesn't automatically mean they have no life.
    But trying that for a few weeks long? Sorry, but in my eyes, that's pretty much means no life. =/

    I know of the 200+ in 5 hours, I just used an example. ;)

    It's not summer for everyone btw, there are: Summer schools, summer camps, vacation and so on.


    But, for the sake of the fate of this thread, let's quit this discussing? Let's keep it at No Winner.

    well there use to be more active players in beta thats why there was so much faction competition back then.
    but i guess we cant blame faction or ourselves because those people quit the game and stopped being active.

    		I don't really blame CAD for it (Although it might seem so) it's just at the moment, the faction with the most active players win. =/ That's how it is today sadly...
