Varium and Bad Sportsmanship

So I was doing some arcade battles (the one on on one I find worth doing) and this guy just repetitively called me noob because he was a varium player with full enhancements, a tactical merc , and using a copied build(strength smoker). I was like wth? I managed to beat him once but got owned the 3 other times. Really he should have been impressed that I was able to squeeze one win out of him. I bet he was one of those guys who bought varium to be power hungry, not to support the game.
The varium players will give us free players no respect if each battle we get is nearly unwinnable.
Then I fought this strength merc who always said GG after he stunzerked me for so much battles. (the stun nerf was no help btw)
I had like 72 support and he had like 36. Some people don't understand its not a good game if you only win by luck. The luck factor is the only chance a non-varium has against a varium player because who in the right mind would lose to another person 10-12 levels below in stats?
So as of now a battle between a varium player and a non-varium player cannot possibly be a "good game".

Tell them varium does not make you unbeatable. It just gives an advantage.

Some people are rude, doesn't mean all of them are rude.

You should see some of the comments F2Ps throw at me.

 I almost got beat by a non varium merc. Not Tactical, just plain merc. I was impressed so I skipped my last turn and gave the win to her. It was close enough that one hit would've finished us both off. This wasn't even one of those luck battles where she only got that far because she blocked twice and critted. Neither of us got any luck factors in that game so I gave the win to her.

Thats why i was made a thread "Stop Saying GG" , also the ppl you said is the real noob because that means he dont know Varium vs Non Varium is a unfair battle , he should be a noob to call a non varium noob.

Edward Vulture, we have met in game a few days go :P
But the point is, I feel your pain. All non-variums do. We' have to suck it up and ignore, it's normal. Not saying they shouldn't stop, but we have to deal with it.
The RNG is haywire for some reason or another. We have to be patient with that too.

I would like to see this gone, but it's almost impossible. This would have to mean people all go to forums and know what a GG is and all should say sorry if they win by the help of the RNG.

Yah pretty much happened to me too i was in jugger and i had to face a lvl 30 var tac merc and a lvl 29 merc with all independence rare.i managed to beat them off but instead they told me NOOB and i hacked and all tht suff NOT a gud sportmen ship i think

^All "trends" are copied builds IMO. You can have a variation but that doesn't make you original. If the same concept is used I consider it copied. The concept is high strength with, high dex, low tech, low support. The skill trees you find strength tact mercs using are nearly generic, no variety, no thought.

Well i have characters that are varium and characters that are non-varium. I found that although my non-varium character did get called noob alot, and it hurt a lot since i knew i could not beet the varium opponent, i did get called noob more when using my varium character by non-variums.

I think this is because non-variums feel that it is unfair to play against variums since they rarely can beat them.

Either way, i do not like the bad sportsmanship myself. However, for me saying good game is good sportsmanship. When two soccer teams finish a game, and one team won by a lucky shot or something, they still line up, shake hands, and say good game.

 Not many people buy Varium to support the game. They get it for benefits.

'All's Fair in Love and War.' Poor sportsmanship should be of no concern, and one should expect it going into a game where the whole point is to defeat the other player.

turkish and dendavex no offence but yall two are acting like kids. if ur gonna fight over something like this do it in a pm pls.
but anyway...
its mainly the ppl with full varium that think they are the best with a copied class and...
the non varium ppl who get mad because they are goin against someone with varium even if its just one weapon or armor

@red Nah I'm just mad at the fully enahnce with varium ones. Varium by it self is not so bad, but then they put enhancements in the mix and killed the balance.

I am full varium only 2 enhances stand in the way of me having full enhances and me being a Tac Merc doesn't help. Anyway I still respect non-vars because I do have non-var accounts and I hate that both on my varium and non var accounts. Also I only say gg when i truly feel it was a gg.

 Aere which part of the saying are we love or war becuase people love buying varium to be a winner in a fake war

Anyway i do notice Variums(those that dont have a name for themselfs) tend to be cocky when fighting a F2P but when i fight that same Varium on my Varium the attitude is gone(until i start winning)

yup any game you play that you can play against someone else has sportsmanship.

If you don't have sportmanship and call someone noob for losing when you get uber advantage then you could get yourself reported :P

I let a lvl 30 non varium, win an arcade battle; he asked me If I will let him win, after I got him to 20 hp, still had 80, I said ok, 6 turns later, I said gg, he famed me lol. Best lost I ever had.

Anyways, he is a TLM, every one seems like a noob to them, varium or non varium, excluding other TLM/Merc.
