So I had an idea, and because the suggestion thread seems dead to me, or at least I don't get any feedback there, I figured I would post it here. Since Name Change was released, I think a lot of people, including myself, have been upset with the fact that we cannot go back to a name we previously purchased without paying more Varium. So here is my idea. Although I know a lot of Non-Varium players would disagree with me, I don't think namechange should ever be available via credits. Where features such as Class Change effected gameplay and balance, Name Change has not effect on the outcome of a battle, and therefore should remain a nice "Perk" for the varium players. This being said, the developers have been promising new Arcade Items, Prizes, and Vouchers for what seems to be forever now. One of these Vouchers could easily be made into a name voucher. Obviously it would be very hard to get, but would still give Non-Varium's a small chance at getting a new name (kind of like how the robot currently works in the arcade). Furthermore, I think the price for a Name Change should remain at the 1,100 Varium, or at least in close proximity. However, what should be changed? When you are prompted with the Change Name screen, I think there should be a small button labelled "Revert Name." Selecting this option will provide you with the list of names you have already purchased. In order to revert to an already purchased name, you will have to pay a fee of 10,000 credits, and that is it. Purchase a name for 1,100 Varium, revert (go back) to any name you have previously purchased for the small amount of 10,000 credits or by using the system which is currently in place, paying the 1,100 Varium all over again. This keeps revenue flowing for the developers, but makes it easier on the players. I also don't see this being all that hard to implement. Maybe it would be, but this just seems logical to me, fair, and something all of us with multiple names could really use. I would love to see this feature, and I think it would be a step in the right direction IF implemented. Discuss. Prophet
