 players are quitting epicduel! why? because of the community in epicduel! sadly its true that players are getting more rude, telling off people that have no varium or are a lower level, so what can we do to help these players get back on? SHOW WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT! makes these players feel proud that even though they may be level 15 or level 25, that they worked hard to make it there!

so my question to you guys, how are YOU gonna show words of encouragement to quitting players!

I'm not. I'm simply going to crush them battle after battle into the dirt till they start crying and log off. Less competition for me. Only the strong survive in this game. As the wise Shaniqua said, "evolve or die". And if that evolve means to man up, so be it.

I blame the luck factors for a big part as to why people have become more rude, I myself get very angry when i lose to a variety of diffrent lucks and that angerness is usally passed on for another couple of battles. So i see why people are becomeing more angry.

If you can't compete then quit. It's as simple as that, if you can't handle losing then it's better for you if you don't play.

I care mario and this is what this game need more people with good sportmanship.

But this game is asking too much if players can loose the last 10 battles they have dues to crits ,blocks, deflects. and then be asked to be friendly to the next person that crits you.. NO WAY!

I think instead of quitting epic duel, the "nice" community should get together and all come to an agreement on how they should respond to the new insults and flaming. From what i gather a lot of these quitters have been around for a while and so i would guess they are higher level and thus might have more influence on the lower levels. So i say take sometime to wonder around the highly populated low level areas and speak to the new community and try to set an example of how to behave.

This is the thing. player A: Immature high level partners or fights against player B: lower level player. Player A goes on to call the losing side noob/trash/etc. Player B see's this and starts doing the same in all of his/her matches. This behavior spreads in the community and creates much hate. There really is nothing we can do to stop players from quitting. Only as suggested above, to set an example for the new community and hope they won't become like so many others have.

I dont deny that I've had bad days in ED, and alot of my built up anger from last match gets carried over to my next one, and taken my anger out on the opposing team.

I'm all for helping the people. I help the nubs I fight in juggernaut all the time if they actually listen, but angels does have a point that if something is making you too angry you probably shouldn't do it...

 i have always tried helping the little ones when i was actively running my faction me and my officers would do daily sweeps looking for low levels with unfortunite records we would add them if they agreed to let us make them a better player.

Now that i have slowed down im not really sure what my officers do and on my Jugg acc i try to help players fix flaws in there builds when i see them

one of the main reason that player are quitting is the devs greediness to keep making the credit feature insanely high and the varuim feature extremely high as well not to add how little care they show to important feature such as 2VS2, ARCADE MODE and FACTION WAR .

 I don't necessarily care if they quit. It shows that the 10-year old that play ED now aren't as hardcore as the we are. We made it through, why cant they?

I do feel sorry fo them, but I wont simply encourage them by giving them a win. If they quit, less competition for me.

I would say: Wise decicion.

I farmed days or even months for all 3 inpe items. When i finnaly got them, one of the best nonvarium items in the game, i tested them. I lost against a level 28 varium with not so strong varium weps. Seriously. Is there any point to play this game if we cant even beat the lowest level of variums? We quit because this isnt a place for f2p player's.

So you lose one fight, blame it on your weapons (Of course it CAN'T possibly be your built as you are a genious) and come the the forums complaining.

^ Not just one fight. Over 100 fights, more then 80% of them lost. And yes, i do blame it on my weps. There one of the best weps and couldnt kill a low leveled varium. And im using a supp build, maybe not so good with 1vs1, but still good enough for me.

 i dont know shadow dragon Caden's Wraith Desert Blaster and Carrier Zooka is a great combo for me its not even the best gear a f2P can have and my win ratio is around 70% which is fair

you have to make teh gear work for teh build not just assume the gear and the build go together

Then why don't you test all the builds possible until you find one that can win over 50% of battles? Why blame it on your weapons? It's your strategy of how you think you can win.

@OneWinged Youve been NPC'ing, havnt you?

If not, thats pretty impressive.

@Epic, Other builds? Huh? Only possible builds are strenght, support, bunker or possibly Sugical. Ive tried all those. They all relay on blocks, crit's or deflection's.

 i do not NPC anymore i did for the last 500 credit to buy Seraph armor then i went back to real fighting
