Hello Fellow Forum Member!
I made this thread about mages. Mages are not the UP class of Epicduel! It requires skill to compete with. I just recently changed into a mage on my Shadow Jester Account. My home class is mage so i know what builds to use. I made a awesome support build. It rocks! I don't see why people are saying Mages are UP. CH are. My alt is an CH. I lose some of the battles to TLMs. Right now 3 mages are on the daily leaderboard ( Well about 2 hours ago).
A mage's fast kill builds are mostly abusing Support ,but i seen Mages Like Epic. His STR sword build destroyed my old BH build :). Mages just need skill...A little buff to caster's spells.


Mages Rise Of Shine : Heal Loop Era.

This was a great time of ED. Where angels was at the top with a heal looping build . Xendran with his ultimate Health Build. Most legendary mages quited. Its a shame.

Mages Now:

We are a good class...Its not as easy to use back then. We have good role models. T.600 is a legendary mage also. He is the one who i think is a good mage. He helps others. He finds a build to defeat OP classes. Would you call T.600 a nub for being a mage? Of Course No. Its time quit saying Mages suck and change back to it.

Non Variums Mages Are UP: This is the one thing that upsets me. We have legendary non varium mages. Doctus,B9000.

Please Please Devs buff mages a little Its hard to defeat STR TLMS/Tanks. In this thread i did not say Mages are UP or OP. Non Varium mages Are UP though.

I agree that mages need a slight buff. No matter how hard we try, tactical mercenaries can still beat us. I think that the upcoming robot nerf will be great though. I battled a very skilled tac merc today (.Torin) and I healed thrice during the battle but the difference between him beating me was because he abused his robot.

With the proposed balance changes, there will be options to use caster builds, support builds and focus builds will still remain effective for the tech mage because a malf+energy robot attack is a deadly combination. Mages are certainly not underpowered, although they're slightly harder to use now. I agree with what you said, Jester.

im not exactly sure how using your robot is considered an abuse.

on topic: Mage is still my favourite class, and I'd never class change my main ever :) they are definitely a top 3 class IMO

Just a small explanation if you please,Jesty. You claim it just takes skill to use mage.
Then afterwards you claim you made awesome build that exploits support.
So conclusion would be skill=high support? Care to try making
any other build than that and try winning with "skill"?
And not winning on lv28 non varium players,but players on equal terms
of level and gear.

I use a 5 focus high technology build with physical armor and gamma bot and its very powerful. the gamma bot nerf
is coming though so it will need tweaking, probably just add some back on strength with same skills.

TM's dont need a buff , they are fine , Also supp builds 90% crits or deflects against str builds so i dont see any hard things to defeat str TLM.

I think BM should get Asim back and CH need a huge buff(CH dont have a real passive skill :/ SA is based on luck + it has 42 supp req)

First of all, it isnt gamma bot nerf,its ALL bots nerf,future ones included.
Second,Turky,numbers like that serve only to delude other players and maybe yourself.
If you critted 90% of time,you would never lose. Most players of ED
like to bragg in that fashion:Oh im almighty,i have won 95
of my 100 battles. True,75 were NPC, 15 were nonvariums,
5 were varium but lower level,and those 5 losses were from luck,disconnect etc.

Get real for once,ED,and smell something. And it aint coffe.

it was funny when i used to always beat him weather i was mage / merc / bH xD . ( although he was my trainer [ duno if he remembers that :/ ]

I said i was abusing support. My first build was the heal loop build that Epic Pwnser made.

I beaten alot of TLMS and BHS....I love using high malf...T.600 let me completed my build. I only get high levels lately... My level 31 is my good account... It just requires good equipment. + A non varium beat me in a 2v2 match...

You're wrong here, mages need a really high buff to caster skills and its debuffing skills, I think I'm one of the few who has noticed, but technician until lvl 7 increases 3 tech points more, until lvl 10, it only raises 2 per each level, but bh's reflex boost increases 3 dexterity points per lvl, interesting right? And don't come with the excuse that it increases with support, because all stats points cost the same

Stat spamming does not require skill neither thinking, look at this and see if it is copied, I don't think so.

Yes it needs skill, but also strategy, improvising in a battle and also a perspective to contraattack your opponent's build and a little of luck.
