Chapter 01, The Blood Gem
The Shadow Slayer stood on the balcony outside his room. Looking up at the sky, the full moon. It was the anniversary. A cold breeze chilled his skin,
and he could see his breath in front of him. he felt the cold fear that he had the day of the anniversary.
His hair was ruffled by the wind as he looked down at the skeletons on the ground. He shunned the thought and turned away, entering his room.
"Kashido, you have an assignment." Another Shadow Slayer entered the room, Maria.
Maria was one of those Elite Shadow Slayers, a protege. She wore the normal Shadow Slayer Uniform, dark red clothes and a red jacket, with red high heel boots.
She also had some potions, dynamite powder, and a pistol. Basic Shadow Slayer Weapons. Maria took out a scroll and looked it over.
"What is this time?" Kashido said putting on his jacket.
"They need you to guard a priceless jewel. You'll have to go to Amityvale."
"Really? And why is this jewel so important?" Kashido said irritated.
"Don't you think I have better things to do than protect some jewelry?" Kashido said.
"Its the Blood Gem." Maria said silencing Kashido.
"The Vampires are after it, and you know what will happen to them." Maria said walking out of his room.
Kashido walked out of it as well, going into the hallway. A Red Carpet was on the floors, and the walls had pictures of other Shadow Slayers.
Weapons of other Shadow Slayers, honoring their fight. Kashido couldn't care less about being thanked for his deeds, he was always in the shadows.
He walked down the steps, and approached the Gryphons and Horses. The place was filled with hay, they hardly bothered cleaning the room.
"I'll take this one."
(Interrupted due to storm)
