"Hello...although you know not of me, I know much of most...well, everything," said the being, "But, allow me to introduce myself, I am Narath, the Zari of Fate." "This is This is my library, it is keep in maintenance by my Soul Construct assistant, Vilus, enough so that it might as well be his," the Zari continued, "We're tasked with predestining and writing down all occurrences in history."

"But, you are...perhaps curious as to what we're referring to, no? What is a Zari, a Soul Construct? Where in the multiverse are we all?" Narath asked your own questions for you, "Well, a Zari is a reality modifying being who bears no initial appearance. Wait…you do not understand that, do you? I’ve forgotten how difficult it is for humans to comprehend things outside of their usual repertoire.”

“Heh, what I believe Narath is saying is,” the Soul Construct interrupted the Zari, “That the human mind is not the quickest at taking notice of being in a new phase of existence. It’s perhaps the slowest in these situations, for they always think they’re having a ‘near-death experience’ or dreaming. Hah! What denial of their situation, for it is far better than that.”

“Quite, they had entered our dimension, it’s known as Vereriaz, it’s Ancient Elven for Fate…but, again I doubt you know of the Ancient Elves,” Narath sighed with discontent, “How little do you know of what plane of existence you’re in…fortunately for you, me and Vilus run a large library within this very abode.”

“How large of a library…?” I asked.

“Large enough to account for every occurrence in this dimension’s history,” Narath retorted, “Enjoy” And pointed over towards an enormous board with all kinds of writing on it. “Click ‘English’ I believe that is your language…am I right?”

“I’m pretty sure…” I tried to answer the Zari, “…but I’m quite at unease in this place.”

The tablet was written all in perfect English and carved from the most elegant of marble, each line had a location, which was a shelf number and a book number in that shelf, all books were also labeled with the number…

"I believe I'll start by learning, just what, a Zari is...so, to Shelf 1 and search for Book 1.1," I said. Walking over to the shelf, I looked up near the top of it and quickly found the book. Climbing up the nearby ladder, which I presume Narath and Vilus have set up near each of these books, I took the book and descended. Upon my full descent, I began to open and read the text of the small book.

The reasoning behind the Zari's Reality Modifying capabilities? Simple, they were the first to obtain the "Elements of the Universe". Are they really called that? Of course not, but that's the best thing I can call them where people can understand the basis of what the things are to a degree. So, take it as an analogy more so than fact.

But, for convenience, let's start at the beginning. The beginnings of the Zari will be ignored though, because this book is not about that. Upon some of the Zari discovering the Interdimensional Realm of Transport, they were able to instantly transport themselves to anywhere in the Multiverse at will. Having this, they were then able to take themselves 'directly to their creators' for in those times, the Zari believed some 'God' made them. How disappointed they were, when they found themselves in a blank white space with large numbers of black boxes. They each opened a specific box and took the gem inside.

The "Gems" are actually of a more metallic nature, since they are the basis of the "Zari Bane Weapons". But, after some time, the Zari found themselves unable to withstand the temptation and began trying to combine or fuse with their "Elements".

"Hmm...the Zari are quite intriguing, are they not?" Vilus asked me, "So flawed as all, but yet they view themselves gods," "Oh, and you're reading the wrong book."

"What...?" I asked the Construct.

"You're reading Book Number 1.2, not 1.1," Vilus answered.

"Then, where is 1.1?"

"Right in my hands, here you go, enjoy!"

I spoke not any more words, and opened 'Narath's Guide to Understanding Zari' and begun reading from 1.1.

The Zari are a large, universally spread race mostly noted to lack their own base appearance along with their being the only race to found the resources that give them their innate ability of Reality Modifications, but, their usage of it was set to be limited by a highly-regarded grouping of the Zari, or the Elder Zari in laymen's terms. Their reasoning was also quite understandable, because they noticed the void of existence had began to eat away at existence, the reason behind this is because the resources they took where inherently modifying reality before them. They were probably what lead to the creation of advanced beings over time, despite it not being intentional, most would logically presume that the unintentionally created race was indeed the Zari themselves, and they were supposedly the only accidents, but they were made more and more over time to keep existence at a constant rather than letting the nonexistence or void consume it.

So, to understand the Zari, one must recognize their integral status with the universe. Their work must be done consistently or else 'nonexistence' will eat through reality and begin destroying it. This leaves them rather, 'on edge' with 'inferiors'. They like to have their own dimensions, usually to just have some time to relax, so they typically try to have a "full house" of dimensions enclosed to in their eyes, me, myself, and I.

So, while the Zari are typically spread out quite far apart from each other, mostly "claiming" a dimension as their own...there are the rare occasions where a large amount of Zari want a Dimension and can not solve the issue with debating or logic, and a Zari War ensues whenever this occurs, the Zari will fight each other, not to the death...usually, but until the stronger(Thalack, Kahumot, Che Tok), more liked(Aristal, Zazaiuln, Therril), or cunninger(Navith, Zazaiuln, Necrot) of the Zari obtain the said dimension that they're fighting so much over.

Although, while these wars may be akin to the wars of the 'inferior' races, it is also not. The Zari actually hate, hate, hate to fight, they really do. So much so that typically Elder Zari are responsible for breaking up these outbreaks, battles, and skirmishes. For while there are 'back-up' Zari that are numerous, not all are so trustworthy...

Vilus butted in, "I'm sorry, am I interrupting? I just can't help but notice that you've read the only necessary parts and are starting to look bored. Narath's writings do that, mine on the other hand...are a lot less lecture-esque and much more intriguing to the laymen."

"How so?" I asked the construct.

"They're much more action-oriented, directed and flown much like the 'fiction' novels as they're known in your dimension," Vilus answered gleefully.
