 Hello ED team i just want to congratz all the team for the effort of making ED with portuguese support in my behalf (i'm a portuguese player) and probably in the name of all the other portuguese and brazilian players :) ,and probably if you need any help all the portuguese community wouldnt mind giving you guys an hand.

AQWplayer: I know what it means XD also it doesn't matters that much, I think...
Also the portuguese isn't that fine but at least it is understandable

 lol guys just to clarify things --> pene it's an abbreviation of penetras (my ingame nickname) and in portuguese doesnt mean anything sexual related. I guess the closest translation i can get is --> penetras is someone who gets into special or regular events without being invited ;)

Edit: and just to add another thing don't mix spanish with portuguese ppl tend to do that a lot dunno why portugal and spain are diferent countries with diferent cultures @Buffy --> you probably checked the spanish dicitionaire instead of a portuguese one. the word pene doesnt even exist in portuguese :P

 pene i believe people do that because the dialects are similar(not the same but i do believe they share afew words in common) so it would be an honest mistake

@Pene and @OWA: Both are derivations from Latin, a lost language, that is why they're almost always confused, also I'm originally a spanish talker so I got a bad thought seeing your forum name, my bad

I'm here for my cousin, who wanted to thank the ED team, seeing as he only speaks Portuguese, and since he lives in Brazil, I only see him twice a year, so I can't help him with his English, and his school's English teachers are terrible. He says it's a great advancement, and you guys should expand on this, next with Spanish, then French and German.

@buffy Pene is an Italian word. I could translate it to you in Portuguese AND Spanish, but google translate can already do that.
@Supermasivo I know that, but while in spanish people say stuff like "pito, pistola, etc" (This is for me. In uruguay, we use these words more often), whilst my Italian friends use pene far more often than any other...

 @aere how do you define old English because elizebathian English(what Shakespeare wrote in) is still modern English middle English is mostly french and old English is an older form of German

I really hope next language would be Spanish... and by the way "pene" is a spanish word too that means "male genital" in english words.

 There are many words that you can find that are common words in one language but obscenities in another. That's just one of the awkward things that will happen when you deal with an international community. That discussion is off-topic however, and hardly appropriate for the forums, so let's stop that here.

I'm sure all international players are enjoying the support for accented characters in chat now (try it out if you haven't noticed it yet!). There's still quite a lot left to translate into Portuguese, but this is really leaps and bounds in opening up EpicDuel to many more players.

I think it is FANTASTIC.
Anything that helps peoples communicate and understand just HAS to be a good thing.

I tried it, and although I do not understand the language, it gave me an insight as to the problems they may run across.

So another GREAT job. :)
