Note:This story takes place in the events of Book 3.So it may contain spoilers of the other books.
Note 2:There might be some alterations from the game,so please keep that in mind while reading.



Prologue:

Legends spoke about an ancient God named Kezeros,who once challenged The Avatars themeselves,but was defeated by their combined powers,then banished to a forgotten realm.The Avatars thought that it was the end for him.
But they were wrong.
Kezeros,who had been banished for millenias now,is regenerating his powers from a mysterious,immortal warrior known only as "Kezeros Knight",and soon he will be free again,to bring death and destruction upon Lore!
But the hidden fact that most people don't know is that "Kezeros Knight" is actually seeking revenge on Kezeros for unknown reasons,which is why he was roaming Lore for many years,searching for numerous ancient artifacts,but it probably won't go well for the last one...




Chapter 1:An unlucky mission


*At Sulen'Eska,Kara is giving The Hero a new mission...*

Kara:Hero,I need your help with a new mission.
The Hero:What is it,Kara?
Kara:One of our soldiers,while defending Sulen'Eska from the lost Manahunters in Betrubung Swamp,found this *she shows him a runestone* with one of them.
The Hero:A runestone?but why would Rose soldiers carry runestones?
Kara:It is not a simple one,it is a teleportation runestone,this artifact is extremely rare,literally,and we couldn't figure out from where The Rose got such an item,plus,it is non-magical,which means they could teleport to us at anytime without us detecting the magic inside them,until it's too late.We were lucky that the soldier didn't find our home yet,otherwise he could have summoned the entire army there.
The Hero:So what's your plan for this...Non-magical teleportation runestone?
Kara:This might be a little risky,but we must try:you will carry the runestone to different Rose bases,they you will summon our warriors there,this will weaken them,giving us time to restore our own power to strike them.But please,be carful,we cannot risk The Rose regaining the runestone.
The Hero:I will do what I can.

*The Hero leaves,but a mysterious shadow follows him stealthily.*

???:Hahaha!so this little weak "Hero" is carrying my precious treasure?This going to be so easy!
???:Do not underestimate him,it was he who defeated the Ultra Darkness Dracolich years ago.
???:But he never did it alone,his dragon helped him!Without his dragon,he would be just another pathetic fool and nothing more,and I would crush him beneath my feet like a worm!
???:Always just as arrogant as you were...
???:Oh come on!After I take the Runestone and teleport to AND defeat..."him",you are never going to see me again,right?Hahahahaha!

Now,please turn off the music*

*Meanwhile,The Hero arrives to a The Rose base,many Rose guards try stop him but they are defeated,he quickly reaches the center of the base,and just as he was summoning The Vind's warriors,he hears a noise,and then the entire building collapses.The Hero manages to escape the debries miraculously,he opens his eyes only to see a Doom Scythe planted on the ground,and a cloaked,thin figure with a pale face,he has a Doom Katana and two Doom Pistols attached to his waist.He picks up the scythe and walks toward The Hero,he tries to get up but the person points his scythe at him.*

Kezeros Knight:Stop there,young warrior,I am called Kezeros Knight,and you have something I want.
Doom Scythe:You would better give it to us...
Doom Pistols:...Or we would shoot you to death.
Doom Katana:No way you're doing this,I get to deliver the killing blow!
Doom Scythe:You do know that scythes can reap souls,right?it's obvious that it's me who gets to kill him!
Doom Pistols:YOU WILL NOT DO IT!
Doom Katana:AND YOU WILL NOT EITHER!
Kezeros Knight:SILENCE!DOOM WEAPONS!I can't even hear myself thinking!*turns to The Hero* Give me The Runestone,and I spare your life....Warrior...
The Hero:No,you can't decide whether I live or not,you will never have The Runestone,and you'd better worry for your own life!
Kezeros Knight:Bad choice then,because YOU CAN NEVER DEFEAT ME!

*As Kezeros Knight lifts his scythe,The Hero takes the chance to push him away,then he grabs his sword and attacks him head on,but The Knight shoots a powerful blast from his Doom Pistols at The Hero's sword,shattering it to pieces,then points his pistol at his head.*

Kezeros Knight:I told you little warrior,you can't defeat me.*He takes the runestone* I tried sparing you,but you gave me no choice...

*Suddenly,a creature jumps at Kezeros Knight just before he kills The Hero.*

Kezeros Knight:What is this?!
The Hero:It is a...
Both of them:A Pit Grinder!
Doom Scythe:Did you...did you feel...?
Doom Katana:Yes....such power...
Doom Pistols:Kezeros Knight,you probably should keep an eye on this Pit Grinder,he is not normal at all...
Kezeros Knight:It doesn't matter anymore,I have The Non-magical Teleportation Runestone,vengeance will be mine at last!

*Kezeros Knight opens a portal,then he jumps in.*

The Hero:Thank you,Pit Grinder,you saved my life.
Pit Grinder:Hah,no need to say it,I do this almost everyday...
The Hero:WHAT?!You can speak?!
Pit Grinder:Yeah,we are magical creatures,we can speak,but few of us learn your language.
The Hero:Oh,so...may I know your name,Pit Grinder?
Bok:The name is Bok,The Pit Grinder mercenary,I help people for free when I can,but when they ask for help they must pay for it.
The Hero:Good,because I really need your help now,that guy who just escaped a while before,he stole an artifact from me and I NEED to take it back,it is importent,pleeaaase!
Bok:I will help,but when it is over,you'll have to pay me,deal?
The Hero:Deal!Now let's jump in before the portal closes!

*The two jump in,and the portal closes.Meanwhile,Kezeros Knight is preparing a spell using the runestone and other artifacts.*

Kezeros Knight:Finally,vengeance will be achieved...
Kezeros Knight:Time to meet my fate...

The End...of The Beginning!

*The spell activates and opens a non-magical portal to another world:"The Realm of Kezeros",an ancient world that served as a prison to Kezeros for many long years.Kezeros Knight jumps in,landing directly in front of the cave where Kezeros resides,he enters and finds him waiting for him...
Kezeros:It has been too long...
Kezeros Knight:.....
Kezeros:My knight...
Kezeros Knight:You...You destroyed my life...you promised me power and happiness,but all you gave was DEATH!
Kezeros:I did nothing,it was all your own fault...your foolishness made you believe me so easily,you know you shouldn't trust strangers,don't you?
Kezeros Knight:*He punches the wall next to him*ENOUGH!I had a family,a lover,and friends...You tricked me,made me believe in you,then you controlled me to do your work,and then you killed them all!Why them?They have done nothing to you!
Kezeros:...Did you finish your little tragic story?I don't care what happens to anyone in your world.Soon I will be free,and then not even The Avatars can stop me!
Kezeros Knight:You won't live up to do this...because today,I will finish you!!!
Kezeros:You do know you will die if you killed me,right?No problem,let's see if I can finish you first!


*The Knight holds his Scythe and charges at Kezeros,the later attacks him with his tentacles,Knight avoids them,jumps and slashes a tentacle,cutting it.However,it grows back,Knight hangs on a wall using his Katana,then shoots several Doom blasts from his pistol at Kezeros' chest,which don't even leave a scratch.*

Kezeros Knight:What?!
Kezeros:HAHAHAHAH!Fight me as much as you want,you will never defeat me!

*Knight tries the same again with more blasts,more blasts more blasts...but they do absolutely nothing,Knight begins losing hope,he desperately attacks Kezeros,and the later don't even care about it...until some debris fell on a particular red point on his back,it made him feel immense pain,because it was an old injury from his fight with The Avatars.Knight,determined,shoots an extremely powerful doom blast from his pistol at Kezeros' back,which causes the ceilling to fall on him,causing him a pain he hadn't feel in many years.Enraged,Kezeros grabs The Knight and smashes him against the rocks.*

Kezeros: You...little...insect!How dare you defy me?!I helped you,and that is how you repay me?
Kezeros Knight:You...helped...me?!You tricked me!and I will destroy you now for what you have done!
Kezeros:Now?haha!now?!HAHAHAHAHAH!you think that this little injury can kill me?Haha...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....
Kezeros Knight:What...what do you mean?You think I can't kill you?Did...you...forget...that you gave me...*cough*part of your powers?your immortality?
Kezeros:It seems you still don't understand why I gave those powers...You are my source of power,I gain power through you!I gave you immortality,so you don't die until I free myself of this prison!It was your fault that your family,your friends,and her...are dead!Hadn't you serve me,they would have been alive!
Kezeros Knight:My own....fault?

*Kezeros opens a portal with some little power he has,and throws Knight inside it,teleporting him back to Lore...*

*Bok and The Hero find themeselves in front of a huge castle built on a large hill,the castle is so dirty:insects are crawling on the walls and dog food everywhere,worst,the castle seems like a labyrinth.*

Bok:It's a shame there is no Pit Grinder food there,I am hungry.
The hero:I hope you don't like the taste of humans,right?
Bok:Humans?!By The Great Pit Grinders!No!Their meat gives me indigestion!
The hero:WHAT?!You have already eaten humans?!
Bok:Yeah,and a lot of them,but......let's not talk about this now.I will track down that thief...
The hero:And how are you going to do it?This castle is so stinky that I can't breath properly!
Bok:Don't worry,I think I know this place....
The hero:Now this Pit Grinder seems mysterious,first he agreed to help me immediately,and now he says he knows where we are!I should keep an eye on him and know who he is....

*Meanwhile,in Kezeros Knight's chamber*

Doom Scythe:Wake up,you stupid bag of bones!That's me you're lying on!
Kezeros Knight:Ooooooh....What happened?
Doom Katana:Kezeros defeated you.
Doom Pistols:And you started crying as usual,like a little girl.
Kezeros Knight:Hey!I wasn't crying,just.....sad.
Doom Scythe:Bone bag,you should really fight this in you,everytime you meet or mention Kezeros,or when you remember your past,you become once again your weak,useless old self.
Kezeros Knight:Yeah,but I can't help,those are human emotions...

*Suddenly,Knight hears a "WARNING,UNWANTED GUESTS DETECTED." from one of the detecting systems in his chamber.*

Doom Scythe:"Unwanted guests"?Really?
Kezeros Knight:I couldn't find something better.
Doom Scythe:And who are those "unwanted guests"?
Kezeros Knight:They must be that hero and his Pit Grinder friend,how foolish of them to come here on their own.

*Kezeros Knight presses a big purple button.Meanwhile,The Hero and Bok are searching for his chamber,when suddenly,multiple three-headed dogs appear out of nowhere and attack them.Kezeros Knight talks to the two.*

Kezeros Knight's Voice:If you really want to catch me,you will have to defeat my pets first!I call them "Cerberi".
The Hero:Cerberi....Cerberus....Grrrrberus!Yeah!I remember now!Tell me,did you steal them from Death's realm?
Kezeros Knight's Voice:Yes....How did you know?
The Hero:I have ALREADY fought their father,Triskylos!
Bok:Can you two talk later,the monsters are attacking!

*The hero draws his sword,a Cerberus charges and attacks him,but he dodges it and hits the creature in the back,another two breath fire at him,he runs around the hallway and throws his blade at the beasts with so much power it cuts all of their heads.While Bok is cornered by five Cerberi,the pit grinder grabs some of the dirt that covers the ground,it starts glowing in his paw,as he screams:"BY THE POWER OF THE PIT!" and then five light pillars appeared for a moment,then they disappeared along with the cerberi,the dirt in Bok's paw was gone too.*

The hero:What....was......THAT?!
Bok:Pit powers,you won't understand.
Kezeros Knight's Voice:Hmm......that was a good round,but you know,those were just my weakest minions,let's see if you can win against two of my Cerberi Guards!

*Two armored cerberi walks in,The hero tries to attack them,but their armor repels the attack,after too many hits,the hero finally lost hope*

The hero:I can't damage them!Bok,do you have anything you can help me with?
Bok:Let's see...give me some dirt.
The hero:What?!
Bok:NOW!

*The hero gathers some dirt from the ground and the walls,as well as spider webs-all while dodging the cerberi-and gives them to Bok*

Bok: Spider webs?
The hero: Sorry,the monsters were attacking and...
Bok: No,actually it's pretty good!Watch.

*Bok repeats the same move he did the last time,except he yells "PIT POWERS STAGE TWO!",the light pillars appear again and disintegrate the armor,but leaves the cerberi trapped in spider webs.*
