Well this might be a solution for those persons flaming noob, nub, stupid or anything else. Any opinions about this thing because I am personally getting violent sometimes when people call me noob.

I think this one will be on their 'To Do' list.
It has been requested many times and therefore shows one is required.

Unfortunately it will not be one of the highest priorities, but they have started. The have improved the chat lock. Takes off all chat from that player, and removes their chat for 'chat log also. It is a bit of a bind that it looses effect when they leave that room and return. But it is easy to reapply.

So one day, I am sure we will get it.:)

Been suggested in this forum, and in old EDF before. Probably not on the the 'Things that need to be done' list lol.

Yes Void BUT I do not think that the balance fighters and the bug correctors would agree on the importance of this feature.

It would be great yes but we will wait patiently for it. (well most of us will) lol

I've planted a bamboo tree 4 years ago. I believe the my bamboo will grow first before they implement this system .

I'm fine with normal chat as of now, but not being able to control the censorship of another could be damaging to our youths. You may not see destroyed children like me, but it can end up producing more trolls because it becomes a normal custom.

if you ignore them it should also put you on ignore to them. would be unfair if they could ignore you but still abuse you.

Harmful words from a 12 year old shouldn't really affect you, we all should just ignore those who flame because they're
just words and can't hurt u in anyway unless you let them :)

Wow, anyone talkin **** to faybee must be the most annoying douche there is, and personally, I could care less about people callin me noob and such while we playing. I let my destroying them do the talking, and talk crap right back. lol

@Shyteria: thing is, some of the players ARE 12 year olds and shouldn't be receiving obscene abuse at all.
the ignore feature is as much for our benefit as it is for parents who do not want their children subject to abuse online.

we all know it's unavoidable but at least it would be optional.

 If you can't take anything with a grain of salt, you should be the one to be muted. Just ignore them all. Simplest solution. Just say "And I love you too bro :D"

@hypedxlord those are not the ones I would use it for. For those I usually say "Aw thnx :)" They are harmless and do not mean any offence. But there are some that need a mouth scrub. Those are the ones that need it.

xD Ok, I am now in love with this thread.

Some of the stuff said to me because of my character has me scared xD


This one guy was saying awfully disgusting things that got by the chat filter.

I can't say it here but I was a little surprised that guys thought pixels were gorgeous lol.


@Fay Beee some people call you offensive names in chat and say how your a n00b lol...

well, so far I have seen that your nice and um...you have 155,000 wins...so...guess i'm uber n00b....xD

Bones. They are not the sort of childish thing I am referring to. It is the explicit type. More appropriate to an x rated movie, which this is not.

The noob one I get a lot. I do not bother about those.
