I know 6 is quite a few, but all good games have about ten or so :3 I'd love just one more class what about you?

khannibal i would like more classes as well but i think the ones we have already need to het balanced more. but if we do have a new class i would like to see new skills such as passive support boost or pasive tecg boost

I certainly hope not. Increasing the number of classes from three to six made class balance many times more difficult to work with. If the number were to increase again, it would only further hinder class balancing.

And those games that you mentioned that have 10 or more classes; Let me guess, they are not completely centered on strategic PvP? Adding classes is easy when you don't have to worry about all the classes being relatively equal in power level.

I would like more classes, but as stated before by many mods, it would be extremely difficult to balance them.

Shadow Hunter: An agressive form of bounty hunter. They are known for their abilities to increase support. Known to be very isolated, their home was recently destroyed for the mining of Varium. They only fight to destroy the ones who ruined their lives: Alydria Drescarl and Baelius. This class is meant to be extremely balanced. There are major penalties in this class for high strength or high stats.

Shadow Cloak: Passively increases Defense and Resistance based on this formula:
Amount of HP held divided by the level times the amount of focus obtained. Basically, 95 HP/lvl 34=2.79=2 (always rounds down) so we take 2 and times it by a focus of 5=10. 5 defense and 5 resistance. CAPS AT 10!


Blood Veil: A support buffer. It is increased through higher defense.


Assimilation: A more powerful form of Assimilate. HOWEVER, it does not add to your energy. Caps at 20 energy at max for a lvl 34.



Backstab: A critical strike that has a chance for stun. Increased lvl increases the Stun chance and damage only. Basically a hunter form of Maul.



Shruiken: Launch blades of shadows at your enemies. Able to hit two at a time. Increases with Support. (ON PAR WITH ALL MULTIS!)



Decay: A form of poison. However, it is able to add 15% chance for critical decay, adding 50% more decay to the hit. Level 10 caps at 15 decay. With critical decay, it minuses 22 for 3 turns. Increases with none.

They weren't EVEN able to balance 3 classes and they made it even worse by adding other 3, using bad manners to balance, even battle modes got affected, and the whole game actually did, so what do you think by adding other 3 classes?

Probably NOT yet. If there are gonna be new classes then they better perfectly balance all the main 6 classes first.

Demented Mercenary, Shadow Hunter, and Mages are classes I wanna see.
Shadow Hunter:
Bounty Hunters who use the shadows as their shield, they attack when you aren't looking, they perform assassination . Basically a BH that is willing to hunt down anyone from a king to a random civilian for some credits or varium. Uses smoke grenades, poison darts, traps, and attacks that seemingly come out of nowhere. Kind of like a BH combined with TLM.

Demented Mercs:
Mercenaries that after thousands have battle no longer crave money, they went crazy after realizing how greedy they were, willing to fight their own kind for money. Because of the mental sickness they have received through this they go all out attacking hoping it will bring back at least 1 man back. Pretty much the BM of Mercenaries.

Infused Mages:
Mages that have become so advanced that they infused themselves with technology. With their super computer mind they can predict what move their opponent will use. They will use magnetic attacks to harm and disarm their enemies. Pretty much the CH of TM.

The main problem with balance is that the classes are intertwined. If you can give every class a new multi, ultimate, and a passive it may be easier to keep balance.

The greatest problem might have actuality been that the new classes had shared skills. (skills that other classes had) And fixing a class would also mean broke another.
I am not really into having new classes, but i am still yet to see level 20 skills. (new skills)

Would be cool if there were for some variety, but we would get bad again with the balance unfortunetly.

In the pipeline, maybe. But definitely not anytime soon. (Even though I'm hoping for new classes at the end of Delta)

I hope for NEW classes, not like ch/tlm/bm because those have almost same skills like old classes. If classes had original skill set, there would be less balance problems.

Well here is the thing with new classes. We already have 6, which are all over the place. Until they find a way to make all of them on the same competing level, I don't see any point adding more confusion and problems.

As you can tell, the evolved classes are hybrids of the classic classes. We have 2 examples of BH + TM hybrids, 1 example of TM + M, and 0 examples of BH + M.

... What the heck?!

More classes ....more complication ...leading to imbalance.....so only wish, if they could undo, their mistake, that is remove the new classes .... CH, TLM and BM

Id personally like to see a healer class that can dual heal with support (Obviously not to high) with reblood, (gains energy when attacks/health) but like really low for energy, moderate for health?

To be honest if they want to add new classes they should add it now. I mean hell, if we can balance 6 current classes and then add 3 more, the whole effort will be ruined.

I think they should add 3 more classes so each stating classes have 2 specialists, which seem more reasonable than having only 1 upgraded version. 9 Classes sound really cool and it's really enough as well

I actually like the idea of Secondary class, aka, Healer/Supporter, Archer, etc. Of course they'd be standalone classes, not related to existing ones, and available at register but problem would be when it comes to usefulness in matches, if the class can do well in 1v1 while let's say Support yourself or if it's suited for 2v2 more.
Yes this is somewhat like AQW, but it doesn't mean we cannot have basic classes either, like Healer/Archer (but Space version xD)/etc. But with amount of imbalance with current evolved classes and fact base ones still manage to be balanced or even UP, I'd say no until they fix evolved to decent standard.

Actually that's a good idea BlueKatz, now would be the perfect time to throw some in :]
And you're right Tran, in theory it sounds good but everone likes mixing it up every now and then it'd be a bit irritating to just have one battle type for a class.
