Is there any special requirements that I have to provide to have my name changed on the forum? Like, do I have to give a valid reason? and also, who may I contact to have my name changed?

You won't need to provide any 'special requirements' to get your name changed, no. To get your name changed you can PM Seahawk.

Well... when you PM Seahawk you do have to give your reason why you want it changed, and the name you want changed to. But that's all.

Do note he has to reset your forum password when he changes it... security thing and all that. So make sure you know your e-mail (and it's valid) before you PM him, because he sends you your password in one.

As has been said, I handle all name changes on the forums. If you want a name change, send me a PM. I only do name changes via PM for security reasons; it lets me verify who you are better then I can with email or IRC or MSN or anything like that. Name changes also require a password change; I send the your name change notification and temporary password to whatever email your forum account is registered to, so make sure you can access that account before you PM me or you won't be able to log in.

I do ask that you provide me with a reason, but you don't have to make up some elaborate story to convince me to change your name... I just need to know why you want your name changed. Also, keep in mind that as a general rule we will only do one name change per account, so make sure whatever name you pick is one you will be happy with!

Forum policy also requires that you have a recent history (usually three months) free of severe warnings and bans before I will consider a name change request. Also, I obviously can't change your name to a name someone else is already using, so I do appreciate it if you check the member list first to see if the name you want is available
