I was currently playing my non varium Merc lvl 25,
I am close to leveling up :-) so that I can put on that
best armor you can buy for a non varium, too my
horror :-( I discovered that I had bought the wrong
gender darn it. Now my option are sell it for half price
and start all over again, wow wait their is no option but
that. Maybe I am old and need glasses but I think there
should be an in game character that will allow me to exchange
my armor for the right gender for free. If I have to pay
then the fee should be maybe 500 credits, or have a clear
male and female section to purchase.

I suggest that the shops only sell players the appropriate gender. That is a very simple movement for convenience, sorry to hear your accident.

That would be nice, will wait a while and see what happens.
I had learned a lesson from my lvl 30 Merc, I had a choice
of buying a bot or save to get armor. I bought the bot a
very bad decision as was going up in lvl I could have used
those +6 in both my stats. Thanks for the condolences
it is my mistake, my son was laughing so hard about how I could
not tell the difference :-)

Thanks Depressed Void, it is my mistake:-) I wont let that happen again.

Yes! Love the idea. This would save all the players who accidentally purchased the wrong gender AND help equalize the limited quantity armor problem where boy armors run out much, much faster than girl armors do.

Switching genders of armor would be great for the next update, also being able to report people even if they already left would be amazing. Little things like this I think, should be implemented once in awhile. (along with balance updates, which should be on a regular basis)

They've actually made it alot easier than it was before, with increased credit gain and random item drops. But I would like to see a higher value for item sellback, and also, being able to increase the sellback with the enhancements already bought for the item. (I'm also a student, and ya, its tough trying to find time to play the game)

I really liked it about 5 updates ago when different NPCs had different sellback prices, and at different NPCs different items were different prices. I had a lot more stuff then everybody else because I took the time to go to Mirv to sell all my stuff and retrain, because he was soooo cheap and gave you 70% of your credits back when you sold stuff. I liked it because it was similar to the real world. I accidentally bought P armor instead of E armor once, and I just went to Mirv, sold it, and a couple battles later bought the correct armor, not much harm done. I wish there was still the price difference between NPCs, it made buying stuff more fun.

i agree their does need to be an npc that trades armour for a fee i was just thinking it last week coz i got the wrong armour type as in i got P instead of E armour and i just ended up buying varium early to fix the problem... so yea support you should put it in the suggestion thread, and yea say not just for female to male swap but physical and energy too :)

Question for the developers and staff:

Why do shops sell incompatible gender models of armour? We can class change, and use different Primary weapons, retrain and use different skills and equipment, but not change genders... so, why sell improperly gendered armour?

^ Really good point... Why don't they just not have the option for guys to buy girl armor, and girls to buy guy armor? It would basically solve the problem.
