Rares and rarity score

rarity score, i personally don't understand the relevance of the feature,

a few questions i want everyone to answer today:

what do you think is the point of item rarity?

what do you think is the point of rarity score?

are you a rare hunter?

if yes why?

also i want his to be a discussion thread for everything to do with item rarity and what rarity you think each item should have for example some items are ultra rare, seasonal rare, rare and limited rare.

No, but I am less inclined to sell rares and I tend to only buy rare items.

I love rares.
I never sell a seasonal or perma rare. I have over 100K rarety score and no plan to stop collecting awesome weapons.

* Although I don't see the point of buying 25 charfade swords just to raise one's score like some people do. Yeh you know who you are -.-

if yes why? Better to keep weak rares than weak non-rares.

They do it just to get high on the Rarity Leader Board, which is a waste. They're wasting so much real life money they could save to buy rares that come in the future. Not have like 30 Gammabots. No need, one is good enough in my opinion. Wasting all that money to buy like 30 of something isn't worth it just to get on the Rarity Leader board in my opinion.

Tell that to AVA. More than 40 actually and a few Bio Borgs.

Guys I made a point by NOT naming anybody when I talked about the over stacking problem. No need to point fingers, at least not directly.

If u guys know me I am ur favorite player on collecting rare weapons ;D and I got on the leaderboards by collecting non-varium and varium weapons and I'm not one of those guys that stack up the same weapon over and over again trust me its better to collect different items,Its about quality not quantity .

I have My Ultra Rare Alpha weps. I think they are under scored. They need to be 5k rarity.

Questions:

What do you think is the point of item rarity?

The point of item rarity is to decide how awesome an item is depending on it's costs, it's restrictions (who can use it, what are the conditions, where is it, when is it, why and how is the rare available), and it's level of craftsmanship.

What do you think is the point of rarity score?

To rank items depending on their levels of awesomeness or limitedness.

Are you a rare hunter?

When it comes to items, I am a utilitarian. When playing games, only then will I exercise utilitarianism, but I will never do so in real-life. I do not collect "rares".
