Where exactly can I post a plea for DF in the forums?

Plea?
You mean like petitions or suggestions?

I don't think you can post either anymore.
Especially not petitions.
The suggestion sub-board was taken down 2-3 months back.
And as far as I know, if you are willing to turn said plea into more of a legit discussion, then feel free to drop by the DFGD.

As Arthur Dragonlord stated, petitions are not allowed anywhere on the AE Forums. Also, DF suggestion threads are at the discretion of the DF game and sometimes forum staff. If they're accepting suggestions, they'll post an official thread requesting them.

If you feel like your "plea" is more of a DF related discussion, you can always ask a member of the DFGD staff if it's appropriate for that forum.
