I think / I propose / whatever that there be some sort of sub-category on the encyclopedia pages for Rare Items. So when you are looking up information, it's not cluttered up with a million items that have gone rare, and thus you can't get, and therefore aren't relevant.

Most the Pedias have indexes so it is easy to separate the Rares out. Either by tags next to the items or separate sections.
